Watford Planning To Replace Ighalo With Isaac Success

Watford are planning to replace Odion Ighalo with another Nigerian attacker in the shape of Granada’s Isaac Success.

Ighalo’s scoring form has caught the eye of the Premier League heavyweights and a move away from the Wasps seems inevitable for the Super Eagles player.

Yet Watford have a plan in place to bring 20-year-old Success from La Liga to the Premier League, despite reported interest from Internazionale and Paris Saint-Germain.

Cristiano Ronaldo Is A "Phenomenon" - Karim Benzema

Karim Benzema has described Cristiano Ronaldo as a "phenomenon" and lauded his five-goal frenzy as Real Madrid defeated Granada 9-1. The Blancos headed into Sunday's clash having lost three of their last four games - including their most recent match having been defeat at rivals Barcelona - but cast aside form fears by smashing the 19th-placed Liga side by eight goals.

Ronaldo was unquestionably the star of the show as he scored five times in one game for the first time in his glittering career and Benzema - who himself bagged a double at the Santiago Bernabeu - lauded his Portuguese team-mate.

Cristiano Ronaldo ran riot against Granada, his five-star show taking him back above Leo Messi in the race to be crowned La Liga's top scorer this season, with 36 goals to the Argentine's 32. A quick-fire hat-trick converted in just eight first-half minutes was enough for Ronaldo to overhaul Messi and forge clear. The Portuguese ace added some further gloss to the scoreline and his own performance with a pair of headers after the break.

Ronaldo had never scored five goals in a single match for Real Madrid before, and of top of that first-time feat he has now reached two more milestones.

Ronaldo Fires Madrid To Top Of La Liga

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 22nd La Liga goal of the season to set Real Madrid on their way to a laboured 2-0 win at home to Granada on Saturday that lifted them above Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to the top of the standings.

Barca and Atletico, who play on Sunday, have drawn on their last two outings, including a 0-0 stalemate between the pair at Atletico's Calderon stadium this month, allowing Real to close the gap in the three-team title race.

Saturday's victory at the Bernabeu was Real's fifth in a row in La Liga since a 2-2 draw at Osasuna in December and France forward Karim Benzema was also on target as Carlo Ancelotti's side moved on to 53 points from 21 matches.
