Arsenal legend Martin Keown has urged the Gunners to give their all in order to beat Chelsea on Saturday and keep Jose Mourinho quiet.

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has stressed Arsene Wenger's men cannot afford to lose this weekend's Premier League showdown against Chelsea if they are to keep Jose Mourinho quiet.

Mourinho and Wenger have developed a frosty relationship over the years and Keown fears the Chelsea boss will verbally have a go at his Arsenal counterpart once more if he emerges victorious on Saturday, like he did in February 2014 when he branded the Frenchman a "specialist in failure".

Joseph Yobo Not Good Enough For Arsenal - Martin Keown

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has passed a damning verdict on former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo who is rumoured to be on the watch list of the Gunners who are looking for defensive cover in their team owing to early injury problems. Aside Yobo, former West Brom player Diego Lugano is also said to be targeted but for Keown neither Yobo  nor Lugano is good enough for the North London club.

‘With injuries, Arsene Wenger may have to get imaginative with his signings, but I’m not convinced Diego Lugano or Joseph Yobo would offer much’, he told the Daily Mail. ‘

Why Petr Cech Must Leave Chelsea - Martin Keown

Martin Keown has claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech must leave the club after losing his place in the team. The 32-year-old was named on the bench during Chelsea's 3-1 win against Burnley, with Thibaut Courtois preferred in goal. Blues manager Jose Mourinho has since admitted that Courtois will be his first-choice keeper and Keown believes that Cech is now left with no option but to quit Stamford Bridge.

"Petr Cech has already achieved greatness in a Chelsea shirt but by not picking him last week, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has left him no way back into the team," he wrote in his column for the Daily Mail. "Unless Jose has developed a hare-brained scheme where his goalkeepers can share duties, there is no choice for Cech. The door to the first team has been ruthlessly slammed in his face, so the only door available to him is the exit.
