Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona: Watch The Goals & Highlights

Ronaldo Set To Prove Self In El Classico

Cristiano Ronaldo literally cannot wait to silence his critics, and he is well aware that there is no better stage to do so than that provided by the 'Clásico'.

The former Manchester United wizard is out to prove to his doubters that he's still capable of delivering, and that he is able to undo even the meanest of defences. In recent weeks, the common consensus has been that Real's number 7 has been the victim of both the system employed by Rafa Benítez and all of football's off-field antics. The 30-year-old feels as if he has been victimised, and is fully aware that the best possible way to put an end to all of the rumours is by putting in a top performance in a game which it is estimated will be watched by some 400 million around the world.

NIGERIA: Buhari Wins EL Classico As Jonathan Gets Fair Play Award

The presidential contest recently won in Nigeria by the APC can be compared to El Classico, not the recent ones but the very hot, high tempered El Classico math which drove the rivalry of Barcelona and Real Madrid to the highest in the days of Mourinho vs Guardiola. The coming of Mourinho to Spain changed everything, added fire and brimestone to the rivalry and he eventually ensured that he broke the dominance of the Pep Guardiola lead Barcelona.

The same thing can be said of the PDP which has lead the Federal Government of Nigeria in four dispensations. The choosing and fielding of a captain that had failed three times (Buhari), the change of coach to a known dodged fighter and winner (Tinubu) and the fresh move to a new club (APC) finally delivered the winning ticket. The acceptance of defeat by Goodluck Jonathan says much about fair play..

Lionel Messi Is Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo - Luis Suarez

Barcelona attacker Luis Suarez has stressed that his Argentine team-mate Lionel Messi is a better player than Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi and Ronaldo have won six Ballons d'Or between them in the past six years - the former emerging victorious four times and the latter twice - and are widely regarded as the two best players around in the game at the moment.

Barcelona Not Thinking About El Classico - Javier Mascherano

Javier Mascherano claims Barcelona are thinking about their midweek clash with Ajax - not Saturday's Clasico clash with Real Madrid.

The Liga leaders restored their four-point advantage over their great rivals by beating Eibar 3-0 at Camp Nou, with Lionel Messi moving to within one goal of the all-time Spanish top-flight record of 251 after earlier strikes from Xavi and Neymar. The build-up to the first season of the Clasico has already begun but Mascherano insists that Luis Enrique's men are solely concentrating on Tuesday's visit of Ajax.

REVEALED!!! How Jose Mourinho Called His Madrid Players Sons Of Bitches

The Times of London have brand new extracts from a new book on Jose Mourinho’s troubled time in charge of Real Madrid.

Written by Diego Torres, “The Special One – The Dark Side of Jose Mourinho” tries to understand why the current Chelsea boss had such a difficult time at the Santiago Bernabeu before returning to Stamford Bridge.
Injecting some fresh insight into the fractious atmosphere which engulf Mourinho’s time at Madrid, we are now told about a fight Mourinho had with his players after a 1-1 draw with Barcelona in 2011.

According to the new book, Mourinho was convinced his players at Real were leaking information out about the team to the media, and the Special One was so fixation on the spies that apparently he had hotels checked for bugs and listening devices.

GERARD PIQUE: Am Happy The Copa Del Rey Is An EL Classico Final

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says he is looking forward to his side's mouthwatering Copa del Rey final date with Real Madrid. The Blaugrana booked their place in the showpiece of the competition with a 3-1 aggregate win over Real Sociedad following Wednesday's 1-1 draw, while their Clasico rivals beat Atletico Madrid 5-0 over two legs.

The Spain international believes the final, which will be played in April at Valencia's Mestalla, will be made all the greater due to the teams' fierce rivalry.

"The most important thing is that we've qualified, it will be a very good match. There's a rivalry between the two teams, and finals are meant to be won," he told the club's official website.
