Real Madrid Wants To Win All Trophies - Toni Kroos

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has admitted that his side fell short of expectations last term and are now determined to win every trophy. The Santiago Bernabeu club finished second in La Liga and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Champions League, having already been knocked out of the Copa del Rey.
Kroos has admitted that his team-mates were left disappointed by how 2014-15 panned out but remains delighted with his decision to swap Bayern Munich for Madrid last summer.
"We were at the door for two titles. We have a team that aspires to win everything," he is quoted as saying by AS. "It would be great to win something.

I Always Want Real Madrid To Loose - Jordi Alba

Jordi Alba has spoken out in support of his teammate Neymar, responding to criticism of the Brazilian after Atlético's 'Copa del Rey' exit to Barcelona. The full back said that "he likes to play football" and "never intends to disrespect" anyone.

He continued to explain that the Brazilian striker is a "humble and down to earth" guy that doesn't "kick or insult people", following the recent comments by the 'Colchoneros' about his playing style.

Atletico Madrid Too Much For Carlo Ancelotti

Last term, Real lost 1-0 at the Bernabéu and managed a 2-2 draw at the Calderón in La Liga, triumphed in both legs of the Copa semi-finals (3-0 at home and 2-0 away) and snatched a 4-1 extra-time victory in Lisbon from the jaws of defeat.

Right at the beginning of this campaign, Ancelotti's men bade goodbye to their dreams of securing an unprecedented sextuple, losing out to Diego Simeone's troops in the Spanish Super Cup courtesy of a 1-1 stalemate at home and a 1-0 reverse across town. They were beaten again by the 'Colchoneros' in La Liga a couple of weeks later, and now they have been dumped out of the Spanish Cup by the same opposition, being outfought and outfoxed in a 2-0 first-leg loss at the Calderón and seeing their comeback hopes dashed by conceding early goals in both halves of the 2-2 draw in the second leg.

Bale's Goals Decisive For Real Madrid In Copa Del Rey & Champions League Victories

Gareth Bale has already paid off his signing fee with two goals in two cup finals. His goal at the Mestalla won a cup final while his header at the Estadio Da Luz essentially clinched the Champions League. It would be fair to say that the Welshman has made a big impact since he arrived in Madrid.

A great move from Di María down the left wing drew a save from Courtois and Bale beat Toby Alderweireld to the draw to head the rebound home.

It was the 110th minute and the 'Décima' was finally in Real Madrid's grasp. Upon scoring, the Welshman exploded with glee, since he hadn't had much luck in front of goal earlier on in the evening.

USAIN BOLT: Gareth Bale Is The Fastest Footballer In The World

When Bale started his gallop out from behind Busquets and the Barcelona midfield, Usain Bolt was in the middle of training in Jamaica.

But someone must have tipped him off about the 'Copa del Rey' final and modern technology enabled Bolt to get to see the move. "It was a great goal," he told MARCA over the phone. "He showed his great speed when he swept past the defence and then kept his cool and slipped the ball under the keepers legs," the fastest man on the planet said from his country's capital, Kingston.

Bolt stressed the beauty of the Welshman's feat: "It seems his past as an athlete [in Cardiff Institute] helped him in this move. It's a goal any sprinter in the world would like to score one day," he claimed.

Real Madrid Tops Marca's Copa Del Rey Combined Team With Seven Players

Real Madrid came out on top in our cup final dream team, as voted for by MARCA.com users. The XI features no fewer than seven 'Los Blancos' players, compared to four from Barcelona. What's more, Carlo Ancelotti was selected over Tata Martino in the dugout.

Iker Casillas got the nod over Pinto between the sticks, while it is even-stevens in defence, with two Real centre-backs - Pepe and Sergio Ramos - and both Barça full-backs, Dani Alves and Jordi Alba.

PRE COPA DEL REY FINAL; Watch Real Madrid Beat Barca In The 2010 Final

It was the Jose Mourinho era and he needed to save his season by winning the Copa del Rey final in 2010. Jose's Tactics were right that night featuring pepe as a defensive midfielder who eventually frustrated Lionel Messi. The only goal in the match was scored in extra time after Di Maria found Christiano Ronaldo who delivered Mourinho's first trophy with a superb header.

Copa Del Rey Win Can Save Martino's Job

The Barça squad are fully aware that they are playing for all or nothing tonight. They haven't given up on the league, but they know that it's out of their hands and looks complicated with only five games to go until the end of the season, especially given their closest rivals' form. It is a somewhat unusual situation for this team, which had been used to winning trophy upon trophy in recent years.

The last time something similar happened was back during the 2007-08 season, with Rijkaard still in the dugout. The Catalans' trophyless season led to the Dutchman's sacking. Following the early successes of Guardiola's reign, the number of trophies won by the club has been on a downward spiral. Last year they only won the league.

Martino's men have the chance to put a smile on their fans' faces tonight, something more typical of yesteryear when the Catalans measured the success of their season on beating Real Madrid.

Ancelotti Waiting On Ronaldo Ahead Of Copa Del Rey Final

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has refused to rule Cristiano Ronaldo out of Wednesday’s Copa del Rey final against Barcelona but admitted he won’t take any risks with his star man.

Ronaldo suffered a suspected knee injury in the 3-0 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund on April 2 and missed Tuesday’s return fixture at Signal Iduna Park as well as last weekend's Liga victory at Real Sociedad.

It then emerged on Thursday that the Portugal international had suffered a muscular problem in his left hamstring, with reports in Spain suggesting that he could be out for another two weeks, thus ruling out an appearance against Barca in Valencia next week.

GERARD PIQUE: Am Happy The Copa Del Rey Is An EL Classico Final

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says he is looking forward to his side's mouthwatering Copa del Rey final date with Real Madrid. The Blaugrana booked their place in the showpiece of the competition with a 3-1 aggregate win over Real Sociedad following Wednesday's 1-1 draw, while their Clasico rivals beat Atletico Madrid 5-0 over two legs.

The Spain international believes the final, which will be played in April at Valencia's Mestalla, will be made all the greater due to the teams' fierce rivalry.

"The most important thing is that we've qualified, it will be a very good match. There's a rivalry between the two teams, and finals are meant to be won," he told the club's official website.
