Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has admitted that his side fell short of expectations last term and are now determined to win every trophy. The Santiago Bernabeu club finished second in La Liga and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Champions League, having already been knocked out of the Copa del Rey.
Kroos has admitted that his team-mates were left disappointed by how 2014-15 panned out but remains delighted with his decision to swap Bayern Munich for Madrid last summer.
"We were at the door for two titles. We have a team that aspires to win everything," he is quoted as saying by AS. "It would be great to win something.
"My decision was to go abroad, especially after winning the World Cup, and to go to Madrid was perfect. I was 100 per cent convinced of it.
"I’m happy. The first year in Madrid was very good. I’m established in the team and I hope to win titles in the coming years."
Kroos has set up a foundation to help terminally ill children and is happy to be able to give something back to the cummunity.
"We want to support the parents that work so hard to care for their children but we also want to help those children fulfil their dreams," he added
