Roma icon Francesco Totti reached another career landmark on Sunday by hitting his 300th goal for the Serie A club in what is his 22nd season in Italy's top flight.
Totti, who made his senior debut with Roma in March 1993, pulled the Giallorossi level in the 36th minute after collecting Miralem Pjanic's pass from midfield to beat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli from the edge of the area.
Totti was left on the bench last week when Roma fought to a 1-1 Champions League draw with defending champions Barcelona as coach Rudi Garcia continued to use the veteran forward sparingly.

Its A Shame To See An Icon Like Casillas Leave Real Madrid - Francesco Totti
Roma star Francesco Totti has said that it is "a shame" to see an "icon" like Iker Casillas leave Real Madrid. The 34-year-old goalkeeper brought an end to a 25-year period at the Santiago Bernabeu last week when he departed to join Porto.
Casillas announced his departure at an emotional press
conference, sitting alone as he delivered a statement to the press - a move
that has seen Madrid heavily criticised by fans and pundits.
Ahead of Roma's friendly against Los Blancos in Melbourne,
Totti, who has spent his entire career with the Italian side, hailed Casillas
as a "great man" as he mourned the World Cup winner's departure.

AS ROMA 1 BAYERN MUNICH 7: Bundesliga Champion Runs Riot In Rome
Bayern Munich produced a scintillating display to batter Roma 7-1 and take firm control of UEFA Champions League Group E on Tuesday. The five-time European champions were expected to face a difficult task in Rome, but Pep Guardiola's men made a mockery of those predictions as they ran riot.
Roma had lost just one competitive home match in 2014 and conceded only once in five wins at the Stadio Olimpico this term, but Rudi Garcia's side were left shell-shocked by Bayern's blitz of five goals in the space of 28 first-half minutes. The terrific Arjen Robben started the rout before Mario Gotze - who scored twice in Bayern's 6-0 demolition of Werder Bremen on Saturday - doubled the advantage.

RECORD!!! Francesco Totti Is Now The Oldest Player To Score In The Champions League
Roma forward Francesco Totti has become the oldest goalscorer in Champions League history with his strike against Manchester City on Tuesday.
The Giallorossi veteran became the first ever 38-year-old to score in the elite European competition, leapfrogging Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs who has held the record since 2011 when he scored against Benfica at the age of 37 years and 28 days.
