Tevez Send Words Of Appreciation To Juve Fans

Carlos Tevez has expressed his gratitude to Juventus, claiming the club gave him back his desire for playing football. Tevez's return to Boca Juniors was confirmed by the Argentine club last month, the 31-year-old moving back to La Bombonera 11 years after departing.

The Argentina international had two successful seasons at Juve, scoring 50 goals in all competitions and helping the club to two league titles and one Coppa Italia as well as last season's UEFA Champions League final.

Juventus have confirmed details of Carlos Tevez's move to Boca Juniors, with as many as four players possibly making the opposite switch. Carlos Tevez's move from Juventus to Boca Juniors will land the club €6.5million and potentially four of the Argentine club's hot prospects.

Boca confirmed that Argentina striker Tevez was set to return to his first club back in June, and the Italian champions have now rubber-stamped the transfer. As well as receiving the transfer fee, Juve have signed Boca striker Guido Vadala, 18, on a two-year loan deal, costing €3.5m, which can be made permanent for €9.4m.

Boca Juniors Set To Unveil Carlos Tevez

Boca Juniors are top of the Argentine league championship as they prepare to unveil Carlos Tevez for his second spell at the club on Monday.

A goal from striker Sebastian Palacios after half an hour gave Boca a 1-0 win at Sarmiento on Sunday, lifting them into first place a point ahead of San Lorenzo and three in front of River Plate.

Tevez, back home in Buenos Aires after a decade in Europe, missed the resumption of the championship because he is on holiday after playing for Argentina at the Copa America.

Serie A Not A Two Horse Race - Carlos Tevez

Juventus forward Carlos Tevez has rejected suggestions this year's Serie A race will be fought out by just two clubs. Juve extended their 100 per cent Serie A record with a 3-0 win at Atalanta on Saturday, Tevez scoring twice.

Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon also saved a penalty on a day Roma triumphed 2-0 against Hellas Verona.
