Mario Balotelli Will Bounce Back To Form - Marcello Lippi

Italy's bad boy has been backed by former Italian Coach Marcelo Lippi who says the AC Milan striker will bounce back to form putting behind his Negative spell at Liverpool.

Marcello Lippi has backed AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli to overcome his recent struggles and become a key figure for the Serie A outfit once more.

The Italy international decided to leave Milan for Liverpool in 2014, but failed to make an impact at the Anfield last campaign. Balotelli was allowed to return to San Siro on loan in an attempt to get his career back on track and Lippi has little doubt he will soon be a major force in Italian football again.

Italian Football Introduces Green Card To Serie B

Green card is now the new thing in Italian football. It's simply to acknowledge footballers that behave rightly. Knowing that most footballers lies on the pitch the green card is here to correct that - say the truth and get rewarded with a green card.....

They have long been accused of gamesmanship and diving in hopes of drawing a penalty, but Italian footballers will soon be able to get a different kind of recognition from referees — a 'green card' for good sportsmanship and other 'acts of virtue' on the pitch.

Referees already carry a yellow and red cards in their shirt pockets — yellow to warn and red to dismiss players for egregious violations of the rules.

Euro 2016: Italy 1-0 Malta

Graziano Pelle spared Italy's blushes as the Southampton striker earned an unconvincing 1-0 Euro 2016 qualifying win over Malta on Thursday to take full advantage of Croatia's slip-up.

Azerbaijan held Group H leaders Croatia to a 0-0 draw earlier on Thursday and, although for a while Malta looked destined to pull off a similar shock in Florence, Pelle bundled the ball home in the second half to see Italy go level at the top of the table.

Despite dominating from start to finish, Italy were forced to endure a great deal of frustration, with several first-half chances coming to nothing in a wasteful display.

I Wanted Torres To Join Inter Milan - Jose Mourinho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he would have preferred if Fernando Torres had joined Inter rather than AC Milan. The Spain international joined the Rossoneri on a two-year loan deal from the Blues just before the close of the summer transfer window.

However, Mourinho has explained that even though the striker failed to nail down a regular starting berth during their time together at Stamford Bridge, he holds the 30-year-old in the highest esteem as a player and as a person and, therefore, would have loved to have seen him join Milan's city rivals.

Mario Balotelli's Ego Has Been Curbed - Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said he has told Mario Balotelli a few home truths on his arrival at Anfield. However, with his antics come goals Balotelli scoring 26 Serie A goals in 43 appearances for Milan, having put 20 balls in the back of the net for City in 54 league matches. Man United In Late Push For Vidal

Manchester United are making a concerted effort to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal before the transfer window closes on Monday, Goal has learned.

The Premier League side have been monitoring Vidal all summer but have been put off by the Turin club's strong, public stance that the Chilean would not be sold. With Vidal not willing to force a move and jeapordise his relationship with the Juve fans, and the club's reluctance to be seen to offload one of their star men, United were left in limbo.

Louis van Gaal had been willing to wait until January to make a move for Roma's Kevin Strootman if United could not land his top targets this summer.

FINALLY!!! Liverpool Confirms Balotelli Signing

Liverpool have sensationally agreed a deal to bring Milan striker Mario Balotelli back to the Premier League on a long-term deal. Serie A giants Milan announced on Thursday that Liverpool have an agreement in place to sign former Manchester City striker Balotelli, subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers categorically ruled out the possibility of purchasing Balotelli before his side played Milan in the International Champions Cup in the United States earlier this month.

However, the Northern Irishman who has been on the hunt for a top-class forward to replace the departed Luis Suarez - has now had a change of heart after rumoured moves for the likes of Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani came to nothing. The Merseyside club finalised the deal, for an undisclosed fee and subject to registration, on Monday and the Italy international is relishing the opportunity to play in England for a second time.

Mario Balotelli Must Sign Code Of Conduct - Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers, the Liverpool manager, has sought assurances from Mario Balotelli that he will abide by the club’s code of conduct before pressing ahead with the £16 million signing of the Italian striker.
Having agreed a fee with AC Milan, the Merseyside club held talks with Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola in Liverpool on Thursday, during which strict criteria for concluding the deal were stipulated.

It is understood Rodgers and the Anfield hierarchy requested a series of clauses to reflect the professional conduct demanded of all Liverpool’s players, with Balotelli facing disciplinary measures if he falls out of line.
Liverpool felt this was necessary given the 24-year-old’s track record at previous clubs where his on-field success was too often overshadowed by his off-field and training-ground indiscretions. Although Milan had earlier announced the departure of the player, Liverpool said the acceptance of these personal terms would be a key condition of the move.
