Emmanuel Emenike Scores For Al Ain To Make It 5 Goals In 7 Matches

Emmanuel Emenike was recently sidelined by injury but the ex-Nigerian international returned with a bang and an assist for his high flying club. Al Ain won the league last season and are on top of the league this season.

Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike returned to Al Ain’s line-up after injury to score a goal and provide an assist in a 3-0 win over Al Ahli in a UAE league game on Saturday.

Al Ain are top of the table with 25 points from 10 games.

Al Ain: Emmanuel Emenike Recovers From Injury

Injured Al Ain striker Emmanuel Emenike is back from injury and fit to play again. Emenike has already won the league with Al Ain in Dubai.

Al Ain of UAE hitman Emmanuel Emenike has announced his return to action for his team after he was sidelined by injury for a week.

"Starting with the team today (Wednesday) after one week injury. Ready to be back " Emenike wrote on Instagram.

Emmanuel Emenike Fires Blank In UAE Debut

Nigeria international striker Emmanuel Emenike fired blanks on a losing debut for United Arab Emirates club Al Ain on Tuesday. Al Ain lost 1-0 to Uzbek Locomotiv in a pre-season game in Austria.

Emenike played the first 45 minutes of the game alongside Ryan Babel, but could not get a goal for his team.

In a league match between Ajman and Al-Ahli, the away side were awarded a controversial penalty in stoppage time. The penalty as converted and Al-Ahli won 2-1, leaving the home side’s fans and officials ‘angry and confused’. Upon the final whistle an Ajman official had words with the ref, before throwing some pretty lame punches at his head.
