Emmanuel Emenike was recently sidelined by injury but the ex-Nigerian international returned with a bang and an assist for his high flying club. Al Ain won the league last season and are on top of the league this season.

Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike returned to Al Ain’s line-up after injury to score a goal and provide an assist in a 3-0 win over Al Ahli in a UAE league game on Saturday.

Al Ain are top of the table with 25 points from 10 games.


The Fenerbahce loanee scored the third goal for Al Ain in the 76th minute and assisted Fillipe Bastos for the opening goal in the 19th minute.

The former Karabukspor striker has now scored five goals in seven league games for Al Ain and two goals in the UAE Super Cup.
