Nigeria international Chima Akas has agreed personal terms with Nigeria premier league club Sunshine Stars.
Leftback Akas, who features for both the Super Eagles and Nigeria U23s, played on loan at relegated Sharks from Shooting Stars this past season.
“Chima has agreed to join Sunshine Stars, he has negotiated his contract and if he does not move overseas, he will play for Sunshine in the new league season,” a top source confirmed.
Sunshine Stars have moved swiftly to improve on their sixth-place finish this past season by hiring experienced coach Samson Unuanel and agreeing terms with several top stars in the league.
