NBA: Kobe Leads Curry In All Stars Returns

It looks like Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant's farewell tour will stop in Toronto in February. The 20-year veteran leads all players in the first returns of All-Star voting, the NBA announced on Friday. Merry Christmas, Kobe fans.

Here are what the All-Star starters would look like if voting ended today in the Western Conference:

Guards: Stephen Curry (510,202), Russell Westbrook (267,699)

Frontcourt: Kobe Bryant (719,235), Kevin Durant (349,473), Blake Griffin (182,107)

And in the Eastern Conference:

Guards: Dwyane Wade (300,595), Kyrie Irving (138,191)

Frontcourt: LeBron James (357,937), Paul George (283,785), Andre Drummond (148,278)

Aside from Bryant leading even Curry, the most notable development here is Irving having more votes than Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler and John Wall despite the Cleveland Cavaliers guard appearing in just two games this season. It's also interesting that the young Drummond has more votes than longtime fan favorite Carmelo Anthony.
