NPFL: Chima Akas Set For Sunshine Stars Move

Super Eagles Chima Akas has accepted a deal to leave Shooting Stars to join top NPFL side. Facts shows that he has reached personal terms with Sunshine Stars.

Nigeria international Chima Akas has agreed personal terms with Nigeria premier league club Sunshine Stars.

Leftback Akas, who features for both the Super Eagles and Nigeria U23s, played on loan at relegated Sharks from Shooting Stars this past season.

NPFL: Enyimba, Warri Wolves Win Big As Amokachi Suffers Defeat

Glo Premier League title contenders Enyimba and Warri Wolves sent out statement of intent to their rivals as they won by 4-0 outcomes in Wednesday's matches.

Six-time champions Enyimba defeated FC Ifeanyiubah in a southeast derby while Wolves eased past 3SC in a game of two halves.

Peter Onyekachi and Andrew Abalogu gave Enyimba a two-goal lead inside the half hour but at the Warri City Stadium, Wolves and Shooting Stars were still level-pegging at 0-0.

Shooting Stars Striker Junior Ajayi Arrives In Tunisia Ahead Of Esperance Transfer Deal

Nigeria U23 striker Junior Ajayi is in Tunis to discuss a transfer to Esperance, according to reports out of the North African country.

According to E-S-Tunis.com, the Shooting Stars striker has arrived Tunis along with his agent to discuss terms with Esperance, who already have Nigeria stars Emem Eduok and Bernard Bulbwa.

Junior Ajayi is the leading scorer of the Nigeria Olympic team and scored the brace which qualified the country to the 2015 Africa U23 Cup of Nations which will be played in Senegal in November.

NPFL: Shooting Stars Win First Away Match In 5 Years

Glo Premier League club, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), ended their five-year wait to win their first game on the road in Nigeria's top flight.

The Ibadan club dispatched Heartland 3-1 at the Rojenny Stadium in Oba near the commercial town of Onitsha on Monday after the game was abandoned on Sunday owing to bad weather.

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, gave new-signing Danladi Isah a start in goal while Fortune Omoniwari, who joined Heartland last week, also got the nod for his debut with the club.
