Nigerian u-23 star Oghenekaro Etebo recently caught the footballing world with astonishing performance at the just concluded AFCON U-23 championship in Senegal. So many clubs are in for the young lad and a Tunisian club is been rumoured to have placed a bid of $1.2 million.

A top Tunisian club have tabled a $1.2 million bid for Nigeria U23 midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo.
Etebo’s club Warri Wolves have already placed a $2 million price tag on the player.

“An offer of a million dollars is on the table for the player and I have even met with the club here in Tunisia to discuss this,” said Vincent Alumona, who is in Tunisia to finalise Kingsley Sokari’s transfer from Enyimba to Tunisia league leaders CS Sfaxien.

Tunisia proved too much for Nigeria in Sunday's highly-anticipated game of AfroBasket 2015 Group A as the hosts held off the Western Africans 70-59.

Cameroon qualifies for Brazil 2014 after weeping Tunisia

Cameroon qualified for the 2014 Fifa World Cup with a convincing 4-1 win over Tunisia at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Sunday afternoon. Goals from Pierre Webo, Benjamin Moukandjo and a brace from Jean Makoun ensured that the Indomitable Lions book their place in their seventh World Cup finals. Ahmed Akaichi found the back of the net for the Eagles of Carthage. Cameroon coach Volker Finke made three changes to the side that held Tunisia to a goalless draw in the first leg. Eto: My National team mates are conspiring against me

Samuel Eto’o has alleged that some of his team mates are conspiring against him ahead of the playoff against Tunisia. Cameroon host Tunisia on Sunday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé in a 2014 FIFA World Cup final leg play-off with the scores 0-0 from the first leg. The Indomitable Lions’ skipper made the allegations on Wednesday during a press conference that he attended together with Coach Volker Finke alongside vice-captains Nicolas Nkoulou and Enoh Eyong.
The Chelsea striker said rumours of a conspiracy against him by some of his teammates are true and alleged that instructions had been issued not to pass the ball to him whenever he is in a good scoring position.
“It is sad to say but it is true. And as the coach is present, I am asking him to make sure it does not happen anymore in our national team. If we were not about to play such a crucial game, I would have asked you to have a look at some of the matches yourselves,” Eto’o said.
And Eto’o went on to explain why he had played so often out of position during the first leg in Radès.
“If I moved back so much towards the midfield against Tunisia, it is before I knew about it already. I had to play like that and I did it, but on Sunday we are talking about Cameroon, about our country. We must put our problems behind us and play for Cameroon,” Eto’o said.
