"I Don't Like It When They Boo A Spain Player" - Del Bosque

Vicente del Bosque assessed Spain's win over Costa Rica and commented on fans booing Piqué at the Reino de León stadium.

On fans booing Piqué: "I'm here to talk about the game. I personally don't think it's important. He's an intelligent lad and it won't affect how he plays. I don't like it when they boo a Spain player because when they do they're booing the whole team".

On Aleix Vidal: "He has an ankle injury and I don't think he'll be fit to face Belarus. That's the downside of this match".

On Keylor Navas: "Keylor played well. He's a good keeper and that's why he's at Real Madrid".

On playing wide players: "Spain's game is usually based around how many midfielders we have. We've always had plenty of midfielders. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't use quick wide players if we have them. Anyone deserving of a place in the squad is here".

On Belarus: "We aren't expecting a trap. This is serious football and we aren't expecting any setbacks. We've played at poor and difficult grounds before".

On Cesc Fábregas: "He's a very confident and intelligent player. He has bags of talent. That's nothing new to us because he's already made 96 international appearances".
