Cambuur 4-1 Excelsior: Ogbeche Hits Double To Lift Struggling side

Free scoring Ogbeche has become the hero of his team Cambuur in recent matches as the Nigerian has been scoring the goals which have become crucial to the struggling side.

Nigeria striker Bartholomew Ogbeche was again the hero of his struggling Dutch Eredivisie team Cambuur on Sunday when he scored twice to secure a 4-1 win at Excelsior.

The 31-year-old striker has now scored nine goals in 14 league games this season.

Bartholomew Ogbeche's brace Rescues Point For cambuur

Former Nigeria international Bartholomew Ogbeche bagged a brace as Cambuur held ADO Den Haag to a 2-2 draw in the Dutch topflight on Saturday. Hosts Ado Den Haag got the lead through Mike van Duinenwho raced through the visitor’s defence  for the curtain raiser.

The home side looked confident after the goal, but with their first chance Cambuur leveled on 35 minutes. A corner was not cleared by ADO Den Haag and the ball eventually fell at the feet of Bartholomew Ogbeche, who made no mistake from close range.

Ogbeche Scores First Goal For His New Dutch Club

Former Nigeria international, Bartholomew Ogbeche, scored a goal and made another as his new club, Cambuur beat SC Heerenveen 3-1 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.

The 29-year-old striker was lively from the start, setting up the first goal for Elvis Manu in the fourth minute.
Ogbeche doubled the lead a minute to the break after latching on to Marcel Ritzmaier's through ball.

Jody Lukoki made the match safe for Cambuur with the third goal on 69 minutes. Alfred Finnbogason scored a late consolation for Heerenveen, who had Nigerian-born former Hungary youth international Kenny Otigba on the bench.
