I Want To Feel Valued At Bayer Leverkusen - Javier Hernadez

Javier Hernandez wants to feel valued at Bayer Leverkusen following his move from Manchester United. Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez says a desire to feel important was a primary factor in his deadline-day move from Manchester United.

The Mexico international saw his five-year spell at Old Trafford come to a close on Monday as he joined the Bundesliga side on a three-year deal having spent last season on loan at Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old did not appear to be an integral part of Louis van Gaal's plans and he told a news conference on Tuesday of his excitement at starting afresh with Leverkusen.

I Made Mistake Over Javier Hernandez - Carlo Ancelotti

Javier Hernandez has shone for Real Madrid recently, scoring three goals in his last two games including the winner against Atletico Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti has acknowledged he should have looked to use Javier Hernandez earlier in the season with the Mexican back among the goals for Real Madrid.

The Manchester United loanee was used sparingly during the first few months of his spell at the Santiago Bernabeu before injuries to Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale offered him a starting berth against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Louis van Gaal Set To Axe 10 United Players

He’s been in the Manchester United job for less than 24 hours, but the Mirror are billing Louis van Gaal as ready to shift the deadwood out of Old Trafford.

Ten players are set to for Old Trafford exit door, say the tabloid, with Marouane Fellaini and Wilfried Zaha some of the bigger named stars set to leave.

Without any further information available on the backsheet of the paper, the narrative that’s being built is the van Gaal fundamentally believes the squad at Man United is all wrong.
