Mark Bosnich believes Manchester United were right to sell Danny Welbeck this summer. The England striker joined Arsenal on transfer deadline day in a £16million switch, following the arrival of Radamel Falcao at Old Trafford. Club legends Bryan Robson and Gary Neville have both questioned Louis van Gaal’s decision on talkSPORT, but former goalkeeper Bosnich claims the club has made the correct call.

“From Danny Welbeck’s point of view, it’s the perfect move, when you look at the players he was in contention with at Manchester United,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.
