Chelsea captain John Terry has been singing Eden Hazard’s praises in recent times.
John Terry has heaped praise on Eden Hazard after the Belgium international’s recent fine performances for Chelsea.
The 22-year-old notched up his fifth top-flight assist of the season when he set up Oscar for the Blues’ third goal in Wednesday’s 3-0 win at Southampton.
Hazard has scored nine goals in all competitions so far this term and has been one of the west Londoners’ standout performers under José Mourinho.
And Terry was gushing with praise for the playmaker following Chelsea’s victory at St Mary’s.
“He’s been different class for us,” Terry told Chelsea’s website. “When we bought him we knew he was a world-class player and he’s proving that game after game.
“He’s getting stronger and stronger, he’s our top scorer at the moment as well so he’s vitally important going forward but he’s working hard defensively as well so he’s a great asset.”
