WORLD CUP FRIENDLY: Ghana Set To Play Montenegro In March

Ghana will play Montenegro in their first pre-World Cup friendly on 05 March, the Ghana Football Association has confirmed. The game will be played at the Stadium Pod Goricum in Podgorica.

A Ghana FA statement on Thursday read: “The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has concluded plans for the international friendly with the Brave Falcons on 5 March.


“The match against Montenegro forms part of the Black Stars preparation for the World Cup in June.”

Ghana will also play the Netherlands on 31 May at the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam.

The Black Stars will face United States, Portugal, and Germany in Group G at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
