Friendly: France To Get Russia Test Ahead Of Euro 2016

French players will get a chance to prove to Deschamps that they are worthy to represent the les blues at the Euros in a friendly in march against Russia before the kick off of Euro 2016.

France will play Russia in a friendly in the final international break before the tournament begins in the summer.

France will face Netherlands on March 25 and the French Football Federation has now confirmed the nation will also take on Russia at the Stade de France four days later.

DIDIER DESCHAMPS: France Can Still Improve

Didier Deschamps says that France have the potential to get even better heading into their quarter-final against Germany in Rio on Friday.

Les Bleus progressed beyond the second round after a 2-0 win over Nigeria, with a Paul Pogba header breaking the Africans' resistance before Joseph Yobo sliced into his own net late on.

France have received plaudits for their performances in the World Cup so far, most notably a 5-2 win over Switzerland in the group stages, but Deschamps insists that they have not yet come close to reaching their peak.

NIGERIA vs FRANCE: Deschamps Worried By Conditions In Brasilia

Didier Deschamps has concerns over the conditions for France's FIFA World Cup last-16 clash with Nigeria in Brasilia on Monday.

France visit the Brazilian capital for the first time in the tournament, but the 1pm (local time) kick-off could see temperatures reach upwards of 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit).

With all of France's group stage matches beginning in the late afternoon and early evening, it will be a new experience for the squad.
