Wenger confirmed his support for the FFF for suspending Benzema despite the fact that the in-form Real Madrid striker may miss the 2016 Euros which will be hosted by France.

Arsene Wenger has backed the French Football Federation's (FFF) decision to suspend Karim Benzema from international duty until the sex-tape scandal involving Mathieu Valbuena is resolved.

FFF president Noel Le Graet announced on Thursday that the Real Madrid star will not be considered for selection for France while a police investigation is ongoing - meaning he could miss next year's European Championship on home soil.

Paris Saint-German To Donate €1 million To Help Syria Refugees

Paris Saint-Germain have announced they will donate €1 million to help ease the Syrian refugee crisis. Millions of people have fled war-torn Syria in recent weeks and sought refuge in Europe, prompting a response from a number of football clubs.

PSG have joined Porto and Real Madrid in pledging financial help, while Uefa has confirmed €1 from every ticket sold for the Champions League and Europa League will go towards easing the troubles.

Friendly: France To Get Russia Test Ahead Of Euro 2016

French players will get a chance to prove to Deschamps that they are worthy to represent the les blues at the Euros in a friendly in march against Russia before the kick off of Euro 2016.

France will play Russia in a friendly in the final international break before the tournament begins in the summer.

Kingsley Coman Joins Bayern Munich On Loan

Bayern Munich have confirmed that they have signed Kingsley Coman on loan from Juventus.
The 19-year-old joined the Serie A champions from Paris Saint-Germain in 2014 but failed to become a regular in the first team.

He has now opted to join the Bundesliga champions, initially on a two year lona deal but Bayern reserve the option to buy him at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

The France Under 21 international had his medical on Sunday to complete the move and spoke of his delight to join Pep Guardiola's side.

TOUR DE FRANCE: Chris Froome Continues Lead

Britain's Chris Froome maintained his grip on the Tour de France yellow jersey as Rafal Majka claimed stage 11. Team Sky's Froome finished the 188km route from Pau to Cauterets alongside most of his rivals, and leads Tejay van Garderen by two minutes and 52 seconds.

Defending champion Vincenzo Nibali lost 50 seconds as he was dropped in the final stretch, following the arduous climb up the Col du Tourmalet. Tinkoff-Saxo's Majka finished a minute ahead of Ireland's Dan Martin.

It was Pole Majka's third stage win at the Tour after two victories in 2014 and he looked a sure bet to reach Cauterets first from the moment that he burst off the front of a breakaway group of seven riders during the climb up to the Tourmalet.

Former Chelsea rebel, Arsenal, Tottenham defender and France international William Gallas has announced his retirement from the game at the age of 37. Gallas' ended his 19-year career with Perth Glory in the A-League, having spent the bulk of his playing time in England.

Starting out as a professional in his native France with Caen - where he won Ligue 2 - Gallas then had four years at Marseille before he was brought to the Premier League by then-Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri in 2001.

Blaise Matuidi has labelled Germany as “favourites” ahead of France's World Cup quarter-final clash against Joachim Low’s side on Friday.

Didier Deschamps says that France have the potential to get even better heading into their quarter-final against Germany in Rio on Friday.
