Are Arsenal about to make a late move in the summer transfer market? On the final day of the window, many Arsenal fans are waking up to learn that manager Arsene Wenger headed to Paris on Monday.
A series of pictures have been posted on social media sites showing the Arsenal boss heading to France by plane.
Naturally, the updates on Wenger’s travels have got some fans excited, with plenty of people wondering if the Gunners could make a late move for PSG’s Edinson Cavani. Of course, that’s highly unlikely.
The more reasonable explanation for Wenger being in France is that the Premier League is now on it’s first international break of the season, and the Gunners boss has taken the opportunity for some personal time. There are also suggestions that Wenger is in France for some media duties.
Moreover, do people really believe Arsene Wenger would personally need to get on a plane to convince Cavani to quit PSG on the final day of the window? Seriously?
