News coming out says the less than 8 weeks old coach of Ifeanyi Ubah FC Daniel Amokachi has resigned. Amokachi has certainly not had the best result at the club with his side being thrashed 4-0 recently. Former Super Eagles assistant coach Daniel Amokachi has confirmed to AfricanFootball.com he has resigned as coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side FC IfeanyiUbah.
"Yes, I have resigned as the coach of Ifeanyi Ubah. I am in Kaduna right now," Amokachi told AfricanFootball.com
The coach didn't go into the details of why he threw in the towel but it can't be unconnected to the scenario that happened after the team lost 1-0 to Sharks in Port Harcourt on Sunday when the team were ordered to embarked on a night journey which the coaches and the players kicked against and did not agreed to.
Amokachi has managed Nasarawa United, Enyimba as well as acted as caretaker coach of Nigeria.
