Wolfsburg Bid 3.5m Euros For Victor Osimhen

In the past few weeks U-17 wonder Osimhen has revealed that he prefers a move to Wolfsburg in Germany ahead of joining clubs like Arsenal and the others in the EPL. Many local pundits are of the opinion that it won't gtake him a long time to get first team football in Germany.

German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg have tabled a four and a half year deal worth about 3.5 million Euros for Victor Osimhen, it can be exclusively revealed.

Osimhen, 17, was top scorer at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile and the Wolfsburg deal is expected to kick in when he turns 18 in December.

Obinna Nsofor Joins MSV Duisburg In Germany

Obinna Nsofor has signed for MSV Duisburg on one-year deal, the German side have confirmed.
The former West Ham and Malaga striker – who was a free agent after his release from Chievo  – scored two goals in 10 appearances for the Italian side last term.

Nsofor will be hoping to revive his career with the Zebra chasing promotion to the German topflight.

“I am happy that Gino Lettieri and I were able to convince a player of the stature of Victor to get to MSV. And I am sure that he will help us with his ability to achieve our goal for the season to escape relegation,” Duisburg’s sports director, Ivo Grlic told club website.

Germany 3-1 Poland: Mario Gotze Hits Brace In Euro Qualifying Clash

Germany's world cup wining goal scorer has sent a signal to doubting Pep Guardiola after scoring a double against Poland in Euro qualifiers.

Mario Gotze scored twice and hit the post as Germany toppled Poland at the summit of Euro 2016 qualifying Group D with a 3-1 win in Frankfurt on Friday.

The world champions dictated play in the early stages, with Thomas Muller and Gotze firing them into a 2-0 lead by the 19th minute.

If You Missed It: Celebritiy Sport Presenter Oma Akatugba Hits Headlines In German Media


Oma was at Werder bremen yesterday to interview Nigeria's Anthony Ujah who recently signed a 4-year contract but lo & behold Oma stole the show. You will probably want to ask yourself if Oma stole the show.... yes he did, he became the star boy...... pause, ask yourself again or you think am kidding? Heil no. Tv, Radio & Newspapers all featured his visit yesterday and this morning.

I busted into some headlines and i found Oma out shining  an International footballer, looks great for sport reporters in Nigeria...... Oma is certainly spare heading the attack in leading a new generation in sport presenting in Nigeria.

Man City In Fresh £50m Bid For Kevin de Bruyne

Manchester City have tabled a fresh bid for Kevin De Bruyne, the Mirror claim in an exclusive this afternoon.

The tabloid claim that City made a formal £50m offer for the Belgian playmaker yesterday, which is a £3m increase on the £47m they bid on Monday.

But despite the huge fee, it’s still some way short of Wolfsburg’s valuation of the midfielder, as the Germans hold out for £57m.

Police Begin Hertha Berlin Bus Shooting Probe

A police investigation into the shooting at Hertha Berlin's team bus on Sunday has begun. Police have started an investigation after Hertha Berlin's team bus was shot at on Sunday.

Hertha's players were not aboard the vehicle at the time of the incident, as it was being driven to collect the squad.

The club, who are due to play Arminia Bielefeld in the DFB-Pokal first round on Monday, confirmed that no one was harmed in the incident while director of football Michael Preetz said the bus driver "got off with a fright".

Jose Mourinho's throw away Kevin de Bruyne is now the big deal in Germany has he has been voted as the player of the year in Germany. I wonder what Jose will say to this? My Chelsea reject now the best in Germany...

Kevin de Bruyne has beaten Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer to the Player of the Year award in Germany by a massive margin. The Belgium international was the star of the league in 2014-15, guiding Wolfsburg to second place and success in the DFB-Pokal as they beat Borussia Dortmund in the final.

Real Madrid Freezed Me Out - Sami Khedira

Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has accused the La Liga club of freezing him out by dropping him from the team after talks on a contract extension broke down even though he was fit to play.

Germany international Khedira, who joined Real from VfB Stuttgart in 2010, will leave Real for free at the end of the season, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as Juventus, reportedly keen to sign him.

The 28-year-old has barely featured since the turn of the year, with Real citing a series of minor injuries as the reason for his absence, but Khedira told sports daily Marca the club had decided he was no longer wanted.

Pep Guardiola has come in for a lot of criticism by the German press following the 3-0 beating meted out by Barcelona at the Camp Nou. "The hardest of defeats", "Humiliation", "Debacle" are just some of the newspapers' headlines.

"Guardiola, beaten by Barcelona, had no time for emotional reunions" reads the headline of Bild newspaper, which then goes on to describe the "sad return" of Barça's "prodigal son" to what was his home, in a match that "showed him the limitations" that his new team, Bayern, had.

INJURY: Alaba Ruled Out For Seven Weeks

Bayern Munich's David Alaba faces up to seven weeks on the sidelines with knee ligament damage, the club have confirmed.

The versatile 22-year-old was substituted at half-time at the Ernst Happel Stadium, after hurting his left knee in a challenge with Hoffenheim's Ermin Bicakcic.Alaba spent more than two months on the sidelines earlier this season after partially tearing the medial ligament and damaging the meniscus in his right knee during Bayern's 2-0 win over Roma in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND: Bomb Discovered Near Signal Iduna Park

An unexploded bomb forced the relocation of Borussia Dortmund's news conference and Jurgen Klopp hopes to avoid any further surprises. Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is hoping to avoid any nasty surprises when his side take on local rivals Schalke on Saturday, after an unexploded bomb was found near Signal Iduna Park on Thursday.

Klopp was forced to relocate his news conference to the club's training ground following the discovery of the explosive near the west stand of the ground. Dortmund host Schalke this weekend hoping to continue their run of three consecutive wins in the Bundesliga, which has seen them climb to 12th.

Leaving Chelsea Stressed Me Out - Andre Schurrle

Andre Schurrle has revealed he was stressed out over his switch from Chelsea and feared a switch to Wolfsburg would not be completed in time. The Germany international completed his return to the Bundesliga for a reported €32 million on Monday, ending a week of intense speculation.

Schurrle is said to have agreed terms early on in the negotiations, but talks between the clubs took the deal perilously close to the transfer deadline.

Qatar Will Not Host 2022 World Cup - Theo Zwanziger

The 2022 World Cup will not be held in Qatar because of the scorching temperatures in the Middle East country, Fifa Executive Committee member Theo Zwanziger said on Monday.

"I personally think that in the end the 2022 World Cup will not take place in Qatar," the German told Sport Bild on Monday.

"Medics say that they cannot accept responsibility with a World Cup taking place under these conditions," the former German football (DFB) chief, who is now a member of the world soccer's governing body Fifa that awarded the tournament to Qatar in 2010.

Oma Akatugba  must be a happy man now and probably the most happy man on Earth now after his German girlfriend delivered a baby girl for the popular sports presenter. Well some people called her his wife and some said girlfriend but all i know is that Oma keeps talking about Germany and if you remember the last recent final between the Falconets and the Germans Oma was simply supporting the both sides calling them "my girls".
