I Inspire Myself - Cristiano Ronaldo

Portugal and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that he his the biggest inspiration driving his career towards being the best footballer in the world.

The 30-year-old has won the Ballon d'Or three times but says that he never needed to model himself on any particular idol growing up, beyond his single-minded desire to play for the Portugal national team.

"Most of the time, I inspired myself," Ronaldo told Unscriptd. "I'm self-motivated.

Cristiano was happy to win a record 4th Golden shoe award but despite that the ever hard working Real Madrid hero expressed his will to win more. Knowing Ronaldo his drive for success is second to none and the Portuguese still fancies his chance of winning more.

Cristiano Ronaldo spoke of his gratitude and ambitions after picking up his fourth Golden Shoe award.

"Thank you all for being here. This is a lovely moment in my sporting career. It's a huge honour and privilege to win a fourth Golden Shoe. It's a very important trophy for me. I'd like to thank my teammates because without them I wouldn't get the chance to win it.

Ronaldo Eyes Euro 2016 Glory

CR7 has hopes of wining Euro 2016 trophy with Portugal in France. The closest the three times Ballon d'Or winner has gone close to the trophy was when Portugal hosted and got to the final in 2004. It's certainly a huge dream but its achievable. 

Cristiano Ronaldo is targeting Euro 2016 glory with Portugal to crown his glittering career, Spanish sports daily Marca reported on Wednesday.

"At club level and on a personal level I've already won everything," said Ronaldo, who picked up the European golden boot award this week after scoring 48 league goals in 35 games for Real Madrid last season.

Nigerian Big Boy & Bet9ja Boss, Kunle Soname Buys Portuguese Club

President of Nigeria National League (NNL) team, Remo Stars Football Club, Kunle Soname and owner of Bet9ja, at the weekend became the first Nigerian to own a top European football club by buying Portuguese second division side, Clube Desportivo Feirense.

Soname secured 70 percent of the club, which last played in the Portuguese top-flight division in 2011.

Portugal 1-0 Denmark: Joao Moutinho's Goal Seals Euro Spot For Portugal

Portugal have sealed a spot at Euro 2016. Portugal only needed a draw to qualify for Europe's biggest football event but Moutinho's lone goal ensured they gotmore than what they required.

Joao Moutinho fired Portugal to a 1-0 win over Denmark in Braga to help his side seal qualification for Euro 2016.

The hosts knew that a draw would be enough to book their ticket for next year's showpiece in France, but they did not take any chances and bagged the full three points instead.

The Sun claim to have sourced a Brazilian woman who claims Ronaldo had an affair with her whilst the Real Madrid superstar was still dating Russian supermodel Irina Shayk.

According to the report, Ronaldo has his affair during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In a classic tabloid headline, the Sun announce “My 42D boobs bust up Irina and Ronaldo”.

Portuguese club SC União Torreense have snapped up Akinbule Ayanfe, the General Manager of SamVic Football Academy, Dominic Egbukwu, has informed allnigeriasoccer.com.

This has ended speculation about the future of the SamVic Football Academy attacker, who has been likened to Mario Balotelli by his minders.

Apart from been linked with a possible move to Norway, the 19 - year - old was on the brink of joining Cagliari this summer but is understood their demotion from the top flight at the end of last season pulled the plug on the deal.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could be around to challenge Premier League opponents for another 20 years as he eyes a long future in the game.

The Portuguese has won 18 major trophies and counting in his managerial career but has no desire to slow down as he looks to utilise his ever-growing experience down the line.

"I see myself going into the seventies - not for ever and ever but while my health is good," Mourinho told reporters.

I Never Thought I Will Be A Professional - Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo admits he never truly believed he would become a professional footballer when he first began to play the game as a child.

The Real Madrid and Portugal sensation began to train with Andorinha on his home island of Madeira in his youth, but says he never considered himself a special talent.

"In my family, we all love football. I remember that one day I was playing in the street and my father told me: 'Why don't you train at the club when I go to work?'. I said yes, why not? So I started to play," Ronaldo told Herbalife.

NOT WANTED! West Ham Terminates Vaz Te' Contract

West Ham United have terminated the contract of Portuguese forward Ricardo Vaz Te by mutual consent, the Premier League club said on Saturday. The 28-year-old joined the east London side in 2012 and scored the winning goal in the Championship (second-tier) playoff final at Wembley that year to secure the team's promotion to the Premier League.

Vaz Te, who made 61 appearances and scored 19 goals in all competitions for West Ham, has found his playing time increasingly limited and has featured only five times this season.
