Cristiano Ronaldo spoke of his gratitude and ambitions after picking up his fourth Golden Shoe award.
"Thank you all for being here. This is a lovely moment in my sporting career. It's a huge honour and privilege to win a fourth Golden Shoe. It's a very important trophy for me. I'd like to thank my teammates because without them I wouldn't get the chance to win it.
I'd also like to thank the physios and everyone who helps with my fitness throughout the year. I'm not satisfied yet though, I always want more. I want a fifth and sixth Golden Shoe... Real Madrid have to win silverware every season and this year is no different.
We want to win the league, the Champions League, the cup... Thank you and I hope to see you all next year", said the Portuguese.
Cristiano picked up the award from Florentino Pérez. The Portuguese, who scored 48 league goals last season, has now overtaken Messi, who has three Golden Shoes to his name.
