Micheal Olaitan Moves To FC Twente On Loan

Olympiakos forward Michael Olaitan will spend the 2015-16 season on loan at FC Twente, the two clubs announced on Thursday.

The 22-year-old is a product of Mighty Jets and has previously spent time on loan at Ergotelis, where he featured 12 times with a goal to his credit.

“After discussions with my family, I have consciously chosen this club. Dutch football suits me, but also the way FC Twente play, ” he told the club's official website.

WOW!!! Nigeria's Micheal Olaitan Is Back To Football

The good days are back for former Nigeria youth international, Michael Olaitan. Questions had been raised over the future of the 22-year-old after he collapsed unchallenged during a Greek Super League game between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos on March 2, 2014.
He was subsequently revived by doctors but did not play again in the 2013/14 season.

Olympiacos then farmed him out on loan to fellow Super League club, Ergotelis on a six-month loan deal on January 30. On Wednesday, Olaitan made his return to competitive action as he replaced Mohammed Youssouf in the 68th minute of Ergotelis’ 0-4 loss to Panaitolikos at Stadio Panetolikou.

Micheal Olaitan Wins Greek League With Olympiakos

Olympiakos secured the Greek Super League title on Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Panthrakikos at Karaiskakis Stadium.

A strike from Nelson Valdez and a penalty from David Fuster was enough to seal a comfortable result for Michel's men against the 10-man visitors, giving them an unassailable 18-point lead over Atromitos with five rounds to play.

The initial title celebrations took place in front of an empty stadium, with Olympiakos forced to play behind closed doors as a result of recent supporter violence during an encounter with rivals Panathinaikos.

Olympiacos` Micheal Olaitan Discharged From Hospital After 11 Days

Former Flying Eagles star Michael Olaitan has promised to return a better and stronger player after he was discharged Wednesday from the Metropolitan Hospital following his collapse on the field 11 days ago.

Upon his discharge the Nigerian paid a surprise visit to his teammates who were having lunch at a restaurant in Chatzikiriakeio.

Olympiacos coach,Mitchell expressed the team's joy at seeing Olaitan back in good shape.
Mitchell would later yake to Twitter to express his joy.

Olympiakos` Micheal Olaitan Declared Fit & Healthy After Collapse

Olympiakos striker Michael Olaitan is in a “very good condition” in hospital after collapsing during Sunday's Athens derby against Panathinaikos.

Olaitan, 21, who featured in the 2-0 Champions League victory over Manchester United last week, collapsed in the first half of his side’s 3-0 loss to their city rivals.

The Nigerian regained consciousness before being taken to hospital for tests and club doctor Christos Theos now believes a viral infection was to blame.

Nigeria`s Micheal Olaitan Collapses During League Derby

Olympiakos midfield lynchpin Michael Olaitan collapsed on the pitch during a Greek league derby as his side suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Panathinaikos at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on Sunday evening.

The Nigerian fell to the ground unchallenged during the first half and received medical attention before he was taken off on a stretcher.

Olaitan regained consciousness with the help of medics and was immediately admitted to a nearby Metropolitan hospital to undergo tests.

OLYMPIACOS 2 PANAITOLIKOS AGRINIO 1: In Form Olaitan Can't Stop Scoring


Nigerian midfielder, Michael Olaitan continues to prove that he can lead the line admirably for Greek club, Olympiacos Piraeus in the Super League. The former Nigeria under-20 star scored as Olympiacos beat Panaitolikos Agrinio 2-1 at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki on Sunday.

Olaitan finished impressively after he was played through by teammate Marko Šcepovic in the 26th minute.
It represents his second goal in as many weeks for the Thrylos after he netted against Skoda Xanthi on January 26.

Olaitan Scores For Olympiakos Again

Michael Olaitan is flying Nigeria’s flag high in Greece where he stars for top Super League side Olympiakos.

The 21-year old former Nigeria junior international has now firmly established himself in the first team and currently has 4 goals to his credit after 11 rounds of matches. Olaitan had a good run last season with Veria scoring 7 goals in 29 games which prompted Olympiakos to snap him up and he is living up to expectations.

Nigeria's Micheal Olaitan Scores For Olympiacos

Olympiacos are 11 points clear at the top of the Greek league after Michael Olaitan scored one of the goals in a 2-0 over Xanti.

Nigeria U20 midfielder Olaitan found the back of the net after 24 minutes, before Ariel Ibagaza doubled their advantage a minute from full time.

Both teams finished this Week 21 clash a man short after a player from each club was sent off.  Olympiacos are slated to battle mighty Manchester United in next month’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
