NBA: LeBron James Signs Lifetime Deal With Nike

Basketball legend LeBron James has hit a mega milestone deal with Nike. LeBron James will be wearing Nike for the rest of his life, yes, for the rest of his life or you can say till he dies which simply means LeBron will be on the pay card of Nike till he dies. This is a massive breakthrough for the star who is the first athlete to get a lifetime deal.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, James signed a lifetime deal with Nike on Monday. Very few athletes get lifetime deals with a sneaker company (Allen Iverson has one with Reebok) and James is the first athlete to ever sign a lifetime deal with Nike.

IAAF: Lord Coe Ends Contract With Nike

It follows conflict of interest claims over the 2021 World Championships going to Eugene, Oregon, where Nike is based.

Athletics' governing body said Coe could remain in the role but he said it was "a distraction to the 18-hour days we are working to steady the ship". It comes amid a recent wider doping and corruption scandal in the sport, which Coe has vowed to clean up.

Speaking at a news conference in Monaco following an IAAF council meeting, Coe said of his Nike role: "The current noise level around it is not good for Nike or the IAAF."

NBA: Kevin Durant's 'Still The Best Quote' - Not A PR Stunt

Take a step back, the way Kevin Durant had to with his injury-filled 2014-15 season, and it makes sense. When so much of your world has escaped your control, you'd better keep both hands on the wheel to drive what you can forward.

And after all the medical debates and ongoing questions about his physical health, Durant is insistent on maintaining his mental health.

That means making the off-the-cuff statement to reporters last month in Las Vegas that "I feel like I'm the best player in the world. That's how confident I feel; that's how confident I am." Then last week in Spain, Durant said it again, via Ruptly TV: "Yes, I'm still the best player in the world."

PREMIER LEAGUE: Nike Set To Quit Sponsorship Deal With Manchester United

Nike says its about money but i think that might not be true. Absence of champions league football and a rebuilding process in a more stronger and competitive league might have influenced this decision....

British Prime Minister Slams England's £90 World Cup Jersey

British Prime Minister David Cameron criticised the £90 top price tag of Nike's England World Cup shirts on Thursday, saying supporters should not be exploited with such expensive items.

Nike's limited edition England jersey has been branded a rip off by British media and has prompted a backlash from fans who say they are often fleeced for loyalty to club and country. A call by sports minister Helen Grant for Nike to cut the price went unheeded on Wednesday with the US sportswear company saying most of its replica shirts would sell for £60.

"It is very expensive," Cameron told BBC television, noting that he was the father of a football-mad eight-year-old boy.
