Well, it seems like a no because he had the opportunity to take Man United, Man City and Chelsea but he opted to run to Germany to play in a one team dominated league where his team buys the best players from sides that contend with them.

Pep can prove Mancini wrong by taking up a mid-table club but we certainly know he won't do that. Mancini Praises Inter Milan After Win

Inter coach Roberto Mancini is adamant that his side fully deserved their desperately late 1-0 win over Atalanta on Sunday, declaring it a "wonderful" Serie A season opener.

An eighth-place finish last season ushered in a pre-season of upheaval, with the squad undergoing a significant overhaul in an attempt to make the club a force once again.

Inter dominated Sunday's clash from start to finish, though they initially struggled to make the most of their superiority.

Roberto Mancini admits he was jealous of Jose Mourinho winning the treble with Inter and concedes it was a “daft” decision to rejoin the Serie A club for a second spell.

Roberto Mancini has left Galatasaray after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 49-year-old was appointed Fatih Terim's successor back in October and signed a three-year-deal upon his arrival in Istanbul.

But, while Mancini lifted the Turkish Cup in his first season in charge, he was unable to stop rivals Fenerbahce from winning the Super Lig title, while Gala exited the Champions League at the hands of Chelsea in the round of 16.

A statement on the club's official website read:"By Mr. Mancini's request and by mutual agreement, the contract was terminated.

Galatasaray Were "Very, Very Bad" Against Chelsea Says Roberto Mancini

Roberto Mancini labelled Galatasaray's showing in their 2-0 Champions League last-16 defeat at Chelsea on Tuesday as "very, very bad".

After drawing the first leg 1-1 in Turkey, the Istanbul club knew they had to score at least once to have any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, but they put in a limp display at Stamford Bridge.

Roberto Mancini says he and Jose Mourinho are not close and claimed that the Chelsea manager does not even like having friends.

Roberto Mancini has told talkSPORT that his Galatasaray side will need to summon another miracle to beat Chelsea in the Champions League last-16. The former Manchester City boss has already guided the Turkish club through a difficult group which included Real Madrid and Juventus to set up a clash with the Blues.

But Mancini concedes they will have to be at their absolute best to progress when the two sides meet in the first-leg at the Turk Telekom Arena next Wednesday, live on talkSPORT.

"I know Chelsea very well. For us it will be a very difficult game because Chelsea are used to playing these important games but we want to play a good game if it’s possible," he told Keys and Gray.

ROBERTO MANCINI: Manchester City Building On My Laid Foundation

Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini says he has no bitterness towards his former club Manchester City and believes their success this season is partly due to the foundations he laid during his three-year tenure at the club.

Mancini was sacked at the end of last season despite taking City to their first major honours in three decades with an FA Cup victory in 2011 and the English Premier League title the following year.

In an interview with the BBC's World Service he also said that his former rivals Manchester United needed to restructure their declining squad if they are to compete for the title.
