Former Nigeria U-21 star Isaac Promise has moved to Turkish divison two side Karabukspor in an undisclosed transfer deal.
Isaac Promise has joined the Blue Flame on a one and a half year contract after seeing off his deal with Balıkesirspor
Promise joins compatriot Simeon Zenke at Yenişehir Stadium and they will hoping to help Yılmaz Vural’s team return to the Turkish topflight at the end of the season.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni Scores Hat-Trick In Turkey
Nigerian striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni showed he has not lost his scoring touch when he plundered a hat-trick for Turkish club, Kayserispor in the Cup on Tuesday.
The attacker netted twice in the first half and once in the second half to power his side to a 7-2 victory over Sariyer in a third round contest decided at Yusuf Ziya Önis Stadyumu.
Aiyegbeni’s first goal on 13 minutes gave Kayserispor the lead while his second, seven minutes later temporarily made the score 3-0 after Sinan Bakis had netted the game’s second goal on the quarter hour.

Why Omeruo Joined Kasimpasa On A Loan Deal
Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has explained why he accepted Kasimpasa offer for a loan deal. The Chelsea defender will be with the Turkish team till the end of the season and a clause has been attached to the deal according to report.
The Süper Lig outfit also revealed that they have a future buy-out clause option to sign Omeruo on a permanent deal until next summer.
Omeruo was snapped up by Chelsea in January 2012 and spent last season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.

Fenerbahce Fans Give Van Persie Heroic Welcome
Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie was mobbed by thousands of Fenerbahce fans as the forward arrived in Istanbul to complete his move to the Turkish side this evening.
The Dutchman is expected to be officially unveiled as a Fenerbahce player tomorrow after travelling to Turkey to complete a medical.
Robin Van Persie left Manchester earlier on Sunday afternoon with a Fenerbahce scarf around his neck and was greeted by some very excited supporters at Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Turkey.

David Moyes Sighted In Turkey Amidst Galatasaray Talks
Eurosport Turkey report David Moyes is in Istanbul amid reports he could become the next Galatasaray manager.
Moyes was sacked after less than a year in charge of Manchester United, and has been out of work since Easter. Many experts suggested the Scot, who has also been in charge at Preston North End and Everton, would be better off making his next job overseas after his torrid time at Old Trafford.
Roberto Mancini, formerly of Manchester City, was last in charge of Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray but parted company with the club earlier this month despite guiding them to the Champions League last16.

Roberto Mancini Leaves Galatasaray On Mutual Consent
Roberto Mancini has left Galatasaray after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 49-year-old was appointed Fatih Terim's successor back in October and signed a three-year-deal upon his arrival in Istanbul.
But, while Mancini lifted the Turkish Cup in his first season in charge, he was unable to stop rivals Fenerbahce from winning the Super Lig title, while Gala exited the Champions League at the hands of Chelsea in the round of 16.
A statement on the club's official website read:"By Mr. Mancini's request and by mutual agreement, the contract was terminated.

Fenerbahce Wins Turkish League For The 19th Time
Fenerbahce have been crowned champions of Turkey for the first time since 2010-11 thanks to their draw with Caykur Rizespor on Sunday.
The runaway leaders had the chance to seal the title last week against rivals Besiktas, but a 1-1 draw ensured they would have to put their celebrations on ice.
However, their triumph has now been secured after a 0-0 stalemate at Sukru Saracoglu stadium, ensuring a 19th Turkish title for the club and a first for head coach Ersun Yanal.

Nigeria's Raheem Lawal Quits Turkish Club Over Salary Issues
Nigeria midfielder Raheem Lawal has terminated his contract with Turkish division 2 side Mersin Idmuryurdu.
Lawal said he has to throw in the towel after he was not paid salary for the past two months and now he will seek for greener pasture elsewhere.
"I have terminated my contract with Mersin. It was as a result of financial issue, they owe me two month wages so I told them I am leaving. I am free now,"

Obafemi Martins Rejects Turkish Move
Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has rejected the financial terms in a contract offered by Turkish side Genclerbirligi according to Turkish mediaturkiyegazetesi.com.tr.
The Seattle Sounders forward who is keen to join a team in Europe before the Janaury transfer window closes at the end of the month has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray and Rizespor, but none have seen the light of the day.

Last Friday evening Galatasaray’s Didier Drogba and Emmanuel Eboue played a lovely homage to the late Nelson Mandela by bearing t-shirt messages in their side’s win over Elazigspor
It has now come to light that the Turkish football authorities took a rather dim view of the benevolent gesture, believing it to carry a political message and hence break the rules, and have summoned the pair to the FA disciplinary committee to explain themselves. Taye Taiwo, Isaac Promise Scores for club
Nigeria’s Taye Taiwo and Promise Isaac were among the goal scorers on Friday as their clubs won away games in the Turkey Super League. Deadball specialist Taiwo gave Bursaspor the lead with a 16th minute penalty in a game they won 2-1 away at Elazispor. It was his second goal in the league.
