NFL: Seahawks Offered Rusell Wilson $21 million A Year

Russell Wilson, who is in the final year of his rookie deal, is set to make $1.54 million in 2015. Ideally, the quarterback would make a lot more than that. The issue, however, is that he and the Seahawks aren't (yet) on the same page when it comes to his value. We've heard everything from Wilson wants to be the NFL's highest paid quarterback and he wants to be in Seattle for a "really, really long time," to he "would definitely consider" playing both football and baseball in the future.

As it stands, the NFL's top-earning quarterbacks, on average, are Aaron Rodgers ($22.0 million), Ben Roethlisberger ($21.85 million), Cam Newton ($20.76 million), Matt Ryan ($20.75 million) and Joe Flacco ($20.1 million).

NFL: Russel Wilson Claims God Spoke To Him In Seahawks Miraculous Come Back

By now you should know him.We featured his story earlier today when he said he won't be having sex with his popular musician girlfriend Ciara laying claim to that on the basis of God. He has also said the recent victory in which his team was involved was as a result of God speaking to him..

Almost immediately after the Seahawks miraculously came back against the Packers in the NFC Championship Game to advance to this past season's Super Bowl, Russell Wilson credited God for "setting it up" and for making the moment "so rewarding, so special."

Now, Wilson is also crediting God for his heartbreaking interception on the one-yard line that sealed the Super Bowl win for the Patriots and ended the Seahawks' bid for back-to-back championships. While speaking at The Rock Church in San Diego, Wilson claimed that God spoke to him just moments after he tossed the interception and explained why the interception took place.
