JOKER: INZAGHI SAYS CR7 AND MESSI CAN'T BETTER IS RECORD

Former AC Milan striker and legend Filipo Inzaghi expressed is views about is goal scoring records especially in year 2007. Read what he said -  Carlo Ancelotti was uncertain whether or not to play me or Alberto Gilardino in the Athens final, but I played and scored twice, then I scored in the Super Cup final win over Sevilla and another two against Boca Juniors. Five goals in three finals, which were three of the most important finals and we won all of them. Not even Messi or Ronaldo will achieve that. It's a record I will hang on to. This must be a real big joke.

A former Brazilian footballer was killed and his decapitated head delivered to his widow by suspected drug traffickers in Rio de Janeiro on Monday night. Joao Rodrigo Silva Santo, 35, who played for Bangu, Olimpia, Nacional and Swedish club Oster during his career, was kidnapped after leaving the local food store he owned in the district of Realengo. IS ARSENAL CRUMBLING???

Arsenal lost a second consecutive match on home soil yesterday against Chelsea in a match in which they fielded most of there starting eleven. They previously lost to Dortmund at home in the Champion' League before falling short to Chelsea conceding 4 goals in both matches and scoring just one. With Arsenal being set to host Liverpool this weekend the table might turn except something superb happens. Liverpool are presently housing the deadliest strike partnership in the premier league and they are just 2 points below Arsenal who are on top of the table.

IS MESSI TIRED???

Former Barcelona star Hristo Stoichkov has voiced his concerns over Messi's fitness following the Argentine's recent dip in form. The 26-year-old has been struggling to find his best form ever since returning from injury and has not found the net in his last three Liga games, including Tuesday's 3-0 win over Celta. I also think he is tired because is work rate has been low. What do you think???

FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP: NIGERIA TO PLAY URUGUAY

Three-time champions Nigeria had no trouble with Iran at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain racking up three goals in the first half en route to a 4-1 scoreline. The result sets up a quarter-final date for the Nigerians with Uruguay, a game in which they may likely miss two of their best attackers – Kalechi Iheanacho and Success Isaac – through injury.  Nigeria came out all guns blazing in the opening seconds. Iheanacho, who scored four goals in the opener on this very pitch.

NO DIEGO SIMEONE ON FIFA' COACH OF THE YEAR LIST

Altetico Madrid' coach has had an excellent 2013 so far, with Atletico surprising Mourinho’s Real Madrid in their own Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to win last season’s Copa del Rey final, currently top of their Champions League group with a 100 percent record, and starting La Liga with nine wins from their first ten matches. Loud voices all over Europe have been heard in condemnation of the 10 man list which excluded him. You could basically argue that even a blind man knows that Wenger shouldn't be on the list. In my opinion Fifa nominations are based on high profile names and personal interests. Now i know why Mourinho and CR7 stay off the award event.

BLATTER APOLOGIZES TO RONALDO AND MADRID

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has issued a public apology to Ronaldo for disparaging remarks he made about him. During a debate at Oxford University over the respective merits of the Portugal international and Barcelona ace Lionel Messi, Blatter joked that "one spends more time at the hairdresser's than the other". Ronaldo took great offence, insinuating that the jibe merely underlined Fifa's bias against him and his club. See what he said "I apologise if you were upset by my light-hearted answer at private event on Friday," the Swiss wrote to Ronaldo's official Twitter account. "I never meant to offend you. "I am an honorary 'socio' at Real Madrid and explained we've many talented players in world game, including you. Best wishes." He also wrote Real Madrid an apology letter.
Hmmmmm, see how special likeness can win you trophies. #worldFootballer

BRAZIL TO FIGHT SPAIN OVER COSTA

Atletico Madrid stricker Diego Costa who is a native of Brazil as turned is back on is country in favor of a place in the squad of the Spanish La Roja. He turned down an invitation from Scolari. "A Brazilian player who refuses to wear the shirt of the Brazilian national team and compete in a World Cup in your country is automatically withdrawn," Felipao said in a statement. However Brazilian's Football Association (CBF) president Jose Maria Marin has already stated that he intends to "fight until the end" to secure the services of Costa, who is currently La Liga's top scorer. MOURINHO CONTINUES UNBEATEN RUN AGAINST WENGER AND ARSENAL

Coach Jose Mourinho inspired is Chelsea side to a 0-2 win against Arsenal at the Emirate Stadim. The inability of Wenger to find a winning formula to Mourinho' tactics is definately becoming frustrating to most fans. Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata scored the goals in a match which the gunners performed below expectation. When will Wenger beat Mourinho? The day it happens i guess the drums will be out on the streets. Up Chelsea, sorry Gunners you can do your best again in the capital one cup next year.......

SEPP BLATTER PREFERS MESSI TO CR7

The 76yrs old Fifa president in simple words described CR7 as a commander in field and one who spends more time at the hairdresser' shop while he described Messi as a good lad which every parent would like as a son. He also said Messi is very fast, good, not exuberant and a very good boy.
Now you have an idea why Messi has claimed 4 consecutive world player of the year award. Hmmmmmm, sympathy votes

MAN U STILL SHAKING

Man u had a tough time playing Real sociedad at Old Trafford yesterday night. An own goal was the only advantage they had in a match that ended 1-0. Poor outing for united, several missed chances and more questions to be answered by David Moyes. Really pity the poor man. Anyway Real sociedad is ranked 12th in La liga why United is ranked 8th in EPL. May be there is no huge difference between both sides. Sorry United.

RONALDO AND PLAY ACTING

CR7 is one of the most special football players presently available in the world. Big players are known to get special treatment from referees atimes and such was the case on match day 3 of the champions league at  the Bernabeau thereby leading to a red card for Chiellini. When chasing a ball into the far corner of the field, the Madrid striker was side-by-side with Chiellini when the Italian stretched out a high arm to leverage a path in front of the €94 million man, making contact with Ronaldo at the top of the chest before sliding his arm up against the Portuguese’s chin. Ronaldo’s response was to sprawl across the turf, clutching a face in general and nose in particular that had not been touched.
CR7 can cheat sha

SUPER IBRAHIMOVIC

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his extraordinary goalscoring run with four goals as Paris St Germain thumped Anderlecht 5-0 in Brussels. Ibrahimovic completed his first Champions League hat-trick in a devastating 18-minute spell before half-time to ensure the French champions easily maintained their perfect record in Group C. Edinson Cavani got in on the act after half-time, thanks to a defensive blunder, before Ibrahimovic joined an elite group of players to score four times in a Champions League match. The Sweden striker has now scored 10 goals in his past five games for club and country. The goal that completed his hat-trick was the pick of the bunch, and loomed as an early contender for goal of the season. After Gregory van der Wiel had set-up his opening two goals, Ibrahimovic took it upon himself to claim his third as he smashed an unstoppable 30-yard volley into the top corner.
