Cristiano Ronaldo is 100 Percent Fit To Face Man City - Zidane

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has indicated that Cristiano Ronaldo is "100 per cent" ahead of the clubs' Champions League semi-final second leg with Manchester City.

Ronaldo has sat out the previous three matches - against Rayo Vallecano, City and Real Sociedad - owing to a thigh muscle strain, but appears to have proven his fitness ahead of Real's crucial encounter.

There was some bad news for the Madrid boss, however, as he confirmed that Casemiro and Karim Benzema have been ruled out of the clash.

Sterling Great Signing For City - John Terry

Manchester City got an outstanding deal in signing Raheem Sterling from Liverpool for £49 million, Chelsea captain John Terry says.

The Blues veteran was impressed by the young England forward last season and, although Sterling and Liverpool's actions in the build up to his exit from Anfield attracted criticism, Terry feels that his forcing through a move to a Champions League team is understandable.

"Sterling was one of the best players I came up against last year. He caused a lot of problems and I think he is going to be a big player for them," the Chelsea defender told the press.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Manuel Pellegrini Under Pressure Against Bayern Munich

Manuel Pellegrini has heaped the pressure on himself ahead of Manchester City's must-win UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. City's hopes of progression to the knockout stages are hanging by a thread after claiming just two points from their first four matches.

Pellegrini's men suffered a morale-sapping 2-1 home defeat to CSKA Moscow in Europe's premier club competition earlier this month in a match that saw them finish with nine men. The Premier League champions have enjoyed plenty of success domestically in recent years, with two league titles and glory in the FA Cup and League Cup appeasing the club's super-rich owners - at least for now.

TRANSFER NEWS: Real Madrid, Man City Wants Falcao, Chelsea, Arsenal In Remy War & More

The future of Radamel Falcao has become the centre of attention in the lead-up to the transfer deadline, with both Manchester City and Real Madrid bidding for his services. The striker, who sat out Monaco’s weekend draw with Lille, had tweeted early on Sunday morning (EST) that he was about to join Real - but the tweet was deleted a short time later.

Any deal with Real is only going to be on loan and Falcao’s representatives are shopping around to se if they can get a permanent deal. City then entered the fray and there are reports that talks are well advanced. To complicate matters even more, there are also rumours that City are about to offload Alvaro Negredo to either Real or Valencia. A move looks highly likely before Tuesday morning’s deadline (EST), it’s just a matter of whether he can get the permanent deal he is looking for.

FINALLY!!! Liverpool Confirms Balotelli Signing

Liverpool have sensationally agreed a deal to bring Milan striker Mario Balotelli back to the Premier League on a long-term deal. Serie A giants Milan announced on Thursday that Liverpool have an agreement in place to sign former Manchester City striker Balotelli, subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers categorically ruled out the possibility of purchasing Balotelli before his side played Milan in the International Champions Cup in the United States earlier this month.

However, the Northern Irishman who has been on the hunt for a top-class forward to replace the departed Luis Suarez - has now had a change of heart after rumoured moves for the likes of Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani came to nothing. The Merseyside club finalised the deal, for an undisclosed fee and subject to registration, on Monday and the Italy international is relishing the opportunity to play in England for a second time.

Yaya Toure Hints At Possible Barcelona Return

Yaya Toure's agent admits that the Manchester City midfielder would consider a return to Barcelona.
Earlier on Tuesday, the player's representative claimed that City had disrespected the Cote d'Ivoire by not wishing him a happy birthday at an event in Abu Dhabi on May 13.

Toure spent three seasons at Barcelona before joining City in July 2010 and Dimitri Seluk maintains that the Spanish club is "another home" for the 31-year-old.

"He is a very professional player and he will work hard for any club he plays for. Every club he has been at he has been one of the best players, if not the best," the agent told talkSPORT.

BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE : Carroll out to crown Liverpool by scoring against Manchester City

Former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll hopes to do his old team a favour by scoring for West Ham against Manchester City to open up the Premier League title race on the final day.

Manuel Pellegrini's side would guarantee the trophy if they beat the Hammers at the Etihad Stadium, leaving the Reds needing to beat Newcastle and hope that their rivals slip up.

Carroll, who was sold by Brendan Rodgers to the Hammers last summer after not fitting into the manager's plans at Anfield, believes that his former club "deserve" to be champions and is out to crown them with a goalscoring performance on Sunday.
