Onazi Ogenyi Happy With Man Of The Match Award Against Dnipro

Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi has told AfricanFootball.com he was delighted to be named man of the match in Lazio's 1-1 draw at Dnipro.

Onazi said he knew it was going to be a tough game at Dnipro, who were runners-up in last year's Europa League.

"I am happy to be named man of the match in the Europa league match against Dnipro,” he said.

Nigeria midfielder Michael Babatunde has signed a three-year deal with last season’s Europa League finalists Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk after canceling his contract with Volyn. The 22-year-old, who has spent five years in Ukraine, will wear the jersey No.9.

Babatunde who turned down top teams that failed to meet his valuation disclosed that the conversation he had with manager Bohgdanovych Markevych swung the decision for him.

“There were discussions with nearly all the top clubs,” Babatunde said.
