New Sevilla signing Yevhen Konoplyanka has been compared to Neymar and Eden Hazard by two of his former team-mates.
The Ukraine international joined the Europa League holders this summer after leaving Dnipro, having turned down a number of other offers from across Europe.
Brazilian striker Matheus - who played alongside Konoplyanka at Dnipro - has spoken highly of the forward and expects him to shine in La Liga.
"Kono has what it takes to be like Hazard and Neymar," he said. "He has the ability to do well in Spain or in any other European league.
"He's like Hazard and Neymar - the type of player who can win games in an instant with a spectacular bit of football."
Another Dnipro player, right-back Leo Matos, also gave his ex-team-mate his backing and highlighted his ability to produce the spectacular.
"He will always pose a threat because he can take free kicks well and always has the edge when it comes to one-on-one situations."
