Signed for a record breaking £59.7m last summer from Real Madrid, Di Maria has struggled in his first season in the Premier League. Paris based newspaper Le Parisien believe Di Maria has verbally agreed a five year deal with PSG and all that is left is for the two clubs to agree on a fee, which is expected to be around €60m.
Despite being dropped by Louis van Gaal towards the end of last season, Di Maria has stated his intention to stay at Old Trafford to prove himself.
France Football yesterday claimed that a fee had been agreed between the two clubs but PSG were struggling to come to an agreement with the player over his wages.
Despite reports to the contrary circulating in France, there still seems to be a long way to go in this transfer saga.
