Aston Villa Will Sign Emmanuel Adebayor - Tim Sherwood

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood would jump at the chance to sign Emmanuel Adebayor if he showed the right attitude and desire but fears the Togo forward may now be frozen out of football until January after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs said on Sunday that Adebayor had been released from his contract by mutual agreement. The 31-year-old has not played for Spurs this season and was left out of both their Premier League and Europa League squads.

Adebayor had reportedly rejected moves to Villa and West Ham during the recent transfer window but was told late last week by Spurs' boss Mauricio Pochettino he had no future at the club.

Adebayor began having problems when he started claiming his family had a vudoo influence over him which helped to ruin his form. Adebayor who had a failed transfer deal to West Ham during the transfer period will still get 100k from Spurs despite not playing... 100k,  yes...

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been left out of his club’s 25-man Premier League squad for the rest of the year. Adebayor had been expected to leave White Hart Lane before the transfer window closed on Tuesday, but Tottenham were unable to find a buyer for the Togo international.

The 31-year-old former Arsenal and Manchester City star, who reportedly earns £100,000-a-week ($152,000, €137,000), has also been left out of Tottenham’s Europa League squad. Adebayor has rarely been selected by Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, who opted to axe the player from his squad despite missing out on a deal for West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino this week.

No Adebayor Loan Deal For Aston Villa - Sherwood

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has confirmed the club failed to convince Tottenham's Emmanuel Adebayor to make a loan switch to Villa Park.

Tim Sherwood has conceded Aston Villa's chase for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has hit the buffers after discussions with the Togo international.

Adebayor had been linked with a reunion with Sherwood - who coached him at Tottenham - after being frozen out at White Hart Lane, with a loan move the more likely option.

Adebayor Reconsidering Aston Villa Loan Move

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is having second thoughts over the opportunity to join Aston Villa on loan this summer, according to Sportsmail.

Deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane by Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino with one year left on his contract, after making just 9 Premier League starts last season as a third choice frontman behind Harry Kane and Roberto Soldado, the 31-year-old has been strongly linked with a reunion with former boss Tim Sherwood.

Sherwood got the best of the Togolese international during his short spell at the helm of Tottenham between December 2013 and May 2014, and is willing to help the player kick start his career at Villa Park.

Transfer Update - Kevin De Bruyne For £50million, Adebayor To Join Villa, Bale Going Nowhere & More

There are just 27 days left of the summer transfer window, and there's still plenty of business to be done.

Manchester United have lost two strikers in the form of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao but are yet to replace either - they've also got to bring in a replacement for PSG-bound Angel di Maria.

And their rivals Manchester City are also still active in the market. Manuel Pellegrini has also allowed two strikers to leave (Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko) without bringing in a replacement.

Emmanuel Adebayor’s Foundation Wows Us Again

Tottenham star, Emmanuel Adebayor has wowed us again. Just weeks after showing us what he quietly does (housing, clothing and feeding the needy at his foundation) the footballer has come online again to share another good news and now wants us to pray along for the woman. Adebayor found this woman, an Ivorian lady with a disease which left her whole body bloated. He took her up, got a surgery done on her and today she is feeling better, but the footballer still needs us all to pray for her.

The footballer has been the one responsible for their housing, feeding, clothing, in fact everything that has to do with them except life and God’s protection.

My Younger Brother Stole 21 Phones - Emmanuel Adebayor

We actually thought this was over. Oh well… Emmanuel Adebayor who is originally from Togo but plays for Tottemham took to his Facebook page about 16 hours ago  to pour out his pains on how his family dealt with him. Though Adebayor, his siblings and mom have all been having major family issues for as long as 12/13 years, we thought it was over when Adebayor posted a picture of himself and his sister on his instagram page few months ago, but no we were wrong. Adebayor still feels hurt, and only God knows what happened yesterday that prompted him to find solace in the hands of his Facebook followers. Just too sad, he sounds hurt and I pray that God will comfort him. Below is what he wrote.

Emmanuel Adebayor Can Take As Much Time As He Needs - Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino has told Emmanuel Adebayor to take as much time as he needs to sort out his off-field problems. The Togo international was granted a leave of absence on Wednesday with Tottenham releasing a statement saying the striker was allowed to return home for "personal reasons", with reports suggesting a family member has been taken ill.

It is not known how much action the 30-year-old will miss, but he definitely sits out Thursday's UEFA Europa League tie with Besiktas and is unlikely to return in time to face Swansea City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Adebayor Will Find Scoring Form - Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino has belief in Emmanuel Adebayor despite the misfiring striker's recent lack of goals. The Togo international has scored only once in all competitions this term - the final goal in Spurs' 4-0 rout of QPR in August.

Adebayor managed 14 goals last season, having regained a place under Pochettino's predecessor Tim Sherwood after being frozen out under Andre Villas-Boas. Although he has only found the net on one occasion this term, Pochettino is confident the former Arsenal man will come good.

Adebayor Returns To Training Ahead Of Sunderland Clash

Tottenham hope to have Emmanuel Adebayor back for their Premier League clash with Sunderland after the striker resumed training on Tuesday.
