Gent Striker Moses Simon Set To Wed On The 29th Of December

Super Eagles and Gent forward Moses Simon will get married to Miss Sarah in Ibadan on the 29th of December 2015.

Super Eagles star players and officials are on the list of expected guests at the occasion set to hold at the city of Ibadan in Oyo State. Some members of his club from Belgium will also be at the event.

Gent 2-2 Zulte-Waregem: Moses Simon Wins Late Point For Gent

Moses Simon scored at the death to rescue a point for KAA Gent in the 2-2 draw with Zulte-Waregem on Friday.

The Super Eagles forward netted in the fourth minute of added time to help Gent claim a point which helps them consolidate top spot in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League.

Simon swept home a corner from eight yards after the Zulte-Waregem defence failed to clear their lines. The 20-year-old had not scored for Gent before Friday’s game in all competitions this season.

Super Eagles Set To Get $40,000 From Rivers State After Beating Swaziland

Ahead of the match in Port Harcourt between Nigeria and Swaziland the Rivers state Government announced a cash reward of $20,000 per goal for the Super Eagles.

The Eagles did not disappoint and one could be right in accepting that the boys were motivated. Everyone gunned for the Eagles to score and Oliseh's men didn't turn the fans down they scored two goals which simply means the Eagles will grab $40,000 from the Rivers state government.

The super eagles of Nigeria broke the deadlock against Swaziland in the 51st minute of play when Moses Simon curled in a superb free kick from about 26 yards.

The Shilangus parked the bus in their own defence and denied the eagles of any good chance in the first half with the best attempt coming from Odion Ighalo which he kicked off target. The King Shield however got a super attempt in the first half after they played a set piece into the box of the Super Eagles.

During the half time break Daniel Amokachi said "it seems the god of football is on the side of the eagles, that attempt from the Shilangus should have been a goal but it seems Nigeria was fortunate not to have conceded that goal".

Efe Ambrose, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo provided goal scoring contributions as Nigeria claimed a deserved 3-0 victory over Cameroon in an international friendly in Brussels on Sunday.

Carl Ikeme kept his place in goal with Leon Balogun, Ambrose, Shehu Abdullahi and Elderson Echiejile starting in a four-man defence for the Super Eagles.

Ogenyi Onazi, Sylvester Igbonu and John Mikel Obi all started in the middle while Emmanuel Emenike, Simon and captain Ahmed Musa played in the more advanced positions.

Oliseh claimed his first victory has the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria after defeating Niger. Though Niger is a low ranked side the special candidate sees the moment as a moment to build on.

Nigeria claimed the first win of Sunday Oliseh's tenure on Tuesday as they saw off Niger in a 2-0 friendly victory at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

Former Eagles ace Oliseh took charge in July and saw his spell at the helm get off to a disappointing start with a goalless draw against Tanzania earlier this month.
