Am Not Leaving Chelsea - Oscar

Chelsea midfielder Oscar insists he has no interest in leaving the club this summer as he continues to adapt to a new role under Jose Mourinho.

Oscar has been a regular fixture in a Chelsea squad which remains on course to win the Premier League title this season, despite fierce competition for places at Stamford Bridge, which has seen both Juan Mata and Andre Schurrle leave the club over the last 18 months.

Chelsea scored four goals in the opening 36 minutes in its 5-0 demolition of Swansea in the English Premier League on Saturday. Oscar struck first within the first minute at the Liberty Stadium. Diego Costa added two more in the 20th and 34th, before Oscar grabbed a second for a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Substitute Andre Schurrle made it 5-0 in the 79th, three minutes after replacing Willian. Leader Chelsea have a provisional five-point lead over Manchester City which hosts Arsenal on Sunday. Swansea are ninth.

Oscar insists summer signing Cesc Fabregas has taken Chelsea to another level this season with his "beautiful passes".

The Blues finished third in the Premier League last term but have made an undefeated start to the current campaign and sit four point clear at the top of the table after 10 games. It’s no secret that Jose Mourinho is unsatisfied with his attacking options. Chelsea’s manager has reiterated on numerous occasions his plans to go after a world class forward during this upcoming transfer window.

However, in order to clear up funds and abide by the FIFA financial fair play, the Special One may have to sacrifice some of his superstars in midfield, namely Oscar and Eden Hazard.

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid have laid their eyes on the two brilliant Blues’ player, and are preparing a bid to lure them over to the Spanish capital this summer. The tabloid failed to mention how much Real are ready to shell out, and forgot to predict the potential bidding war with PSG should such a scenario come into existence.

Hazard and Oscar have enjoyed superb campaigns for Chelsea, playing pivotal roles in the Blues’ Premier League title challenge having netted 17 and 14 goals, respectively.

One of the most curious incidents at the end of Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Liverpool on Sunday was the clash between two Brazilians: Oscar and Lucas. The Chelsea midfielder came in very late on the Liverpool enforcer and in fairness it was a dangerous challenge from Oscar.

Lucas, unsurprisingly, wasn’t happy, and shoved Oscar in the face, despite the fact the pair are international team mates.
