The 3 Horse Premier League Race: See All The Remaining Matches For Arsenal, Manchester City & Chelsea

Whether big horses or little horses, and whatever Jose Mourinho might argue re the latter, we undoubtedly have three teams chasing the Premier League title with 14 games remaining. It now looks like a four team chase for the final Champions League spot with Arsenal (55 points), Manchester City and Chelsea (both 53 points) battling it our from here. See all the remaining matches of the 3 teams after the cut.....

Momentum wise we can say the following.

Arsenal seem most adept at brushing aside weaker teams, especially at home and have goals throughout their squad even though the media keep wondering about their attacking squad depth.

Manchester City have the best attack and look on course to smash records for goal scored in a season. The home defeat to Chelsea has opened up a slew of questions but they do have plenty of winnable games coming up in the immediate future.

Chelsea are by no means the “little horse” Jose Mourinho wants you to think they are. The Blues look to be the best equipped to win their matches against the big sides but have struggled to break down packed defences with perhaps a lack of world class firepower.

So, who has the best fixture list?

Arsenal’s immediate games look tough. As documented elsewhere, February and March will be key for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Manchester City should bounce back from their Chelsea defeat with wins and goals, certainly three home games at the Etihad versus Sunderland, Stoke and Aston Villa have the potential to be barbaric.

Chelsea meanwhile appear to have their harder games spread out, with the majority at Stamford Bridge, versus Everton, Spurs and Arsenal. Only Liverpool away, with three games to go, looks very tricky and they have already played the two Manchester sides twice.
