Chelsea Set To Sell Thibaut Courtois For €30m

              )

In recent weeks there have been plenty of reports surrounding the future of Thibaut Courtois with Real Madrid now firmly interested.

Courtois has been terrific for Atletico Madrid, on loan from Chelsea, over the past three seasons but appears to have his way to the first team at Stamford Bridge blocked by Petr Cech.

Courtois looks set to be in demand this summer, especially if he excels for Belgium at the World Cup and it could be a straight battle between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Guillem Balague reveals in Madrid paper AS today that Courtois will be able to leave Chelsea if they can secure a fee of 30 million euros.

Atletico Madrid are already looking to raise funds to sign Courtois, whilst Real Madrid are interested, according to Balague.

Balague adds that Courtois will return to London after the World Cup and there are a fair few possibilities on the table, including a swap deal with Diego Costa heading to Chelsea in return.

Just like in the January transfer window, Jose Mourinho may be forced to sell before he can buy and with Courtois having just two seasons left on his Chelsea contract, this summer could be the time the Belgian keeper leaves for good.

All signs point to Chelsea keeping Petr Cech as number one, according to Balague with the Czech custodian still only 31 and likely to have his best years ahead.
