While confirming Diego López as a starter for the game against Rayo, he commented on Mourinho's recent declarations.
Cristiano: "He has a slight niggle but it won't affect his game. Tomorrow he will play. We thought about resting him but he doesn't need it."
Casillas: "I don't need to talk about this again. The situation is quite clear. Diego López is doing a good job and tomorrow he will play."
Xabi Alonso: "His last two games have not been fantastic, but he has always been important and I think it's important to know what the player is thinking and he's fine. He might have committed some mistakes, but who doesn't? If we see that he needs a break, we will rest him."
Modric: " Last night he had a fever, tomorrow we will see and make a decision. We will make changes if a player is tired. Now the most important game is against Rayo and then the Champions League."
Defence: "I believe we have let in six goals from two games. We have made a few little mistakes that have cost us a lot. They are not from lack of concentration, but because of bad positioning."
Changes from the bench: "We brought on Isco at just the right moment. Putting Morata on would have changed the set-up and the style of play too much."
Mourinho's words: "It's his opinion, I think that Real is this year fighting for the league - something it wasn't able to do last year."
