Chelsea Could Sign Diego Costa For £35m

Chelsea are close to agreeing  a big money move for Atleti Striker, Diego Costa. It’s believed that talks between representatives of both parties have reached an advanced stage and the Brazilian -born Spanish International could sign for the 2012 UEFA Champions League winners before the  World Cup.

Jose Mourinho has often made public his disappointment with the underwhelming strikers in Chelsea this campaign, as the London-based club have suffered depth upfront with the trio of Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba managing only 18 goals so far this season
.

The Costa deal will be a welcome reprieve to Fans at the bridge but Chelsea must also balance the book, hence some players must be sold to activate the buy. It is believed Costa will earn triple his £50,000-per-week pay when he eventually puts pen to paper.
