Super Falcons head coach, Edwin Okon has said the defeats to his wards in some test matches will count for nothing against the Cameroonian opposition, the Indomitable Lionesses.
The former African champions were pipped 0-1 by the National Under-15 boys team in a test match on Thursday at the Practice Pitch of the Abuja National Stadium.
The Falcons had early on Tuesday at same ground lost 1-3 to the Sia One Academy (men) in another friendly game ahead of next Tuesday's crucial build-up encounter against the Cameroonians.
The Cameroonian tie is designed to help the six-time African champions prepare for the two-legged Africa Women's Championship (AWC) final qualifying match against the She-Amavubi of Rwanda in the next two months in Kigali and Abuja, Nigeria.
Okon said he has achieved the aims of both friendly ties as the gains will be clearer when the side confront the Cameroonians in friendly tie and Rwandans for a spot in the 2014 AWC in Namibia.
"I don't believe the outcome of the friendly matches against the Sia One Academy and National Under-15 men will have any effect or bearing when we tackle the Cameroonians on Tuesday and much later with the Rwandans for AWC spot.
"We're playing men not women, we engaged the men to stress as well as test the endurance level of the players and I'm satisfied with my discovery.
"Expect a good game against the Cameroonians on Tuesday and I'm sure Nigerians will be satisfied with the quality of players we'll put on display," said Okon to supersport.com.
The Rivers Angels head coach hinted of another round of eviction for any player who failed the Cameroonian test match.
"Any player who doesn't measure up after the Cameroonian friendly game will be shown the exit door immediately so that we'll focus on those that'll face the Rwandans later for the AWC ticket," said the former Falconets coach.
