Is Ronaldo The King Of The Spanish Super Cup???

Cristiano Ronaldo is in tip-top condition ahead of the Spanish Super Cup. The knee injury that plagued him last season is history and he goes into the first derby game of the new season as Real Madrid's top goalscorer in pre-season. That is after playing only three games and the full 90 minutes in just one.

CR7 has three goals to his name, two of them in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla, and is once again Real Madrid's main attacking threat. The Portuguese also appears to thrive in the Spanish Super Cup, in which he has scored in the last three he has played in. He found the net in the second-leg of the 2011 Super Cup against Barça, as well as in both legs of the 2012 final, also against the Catalans, taking his tally in this competition to three.

He also appears to enjoy playing cross-city rivals Atlético. Cristiano's record against the La Liga champions is 11 wins, one draw and just two defeats, scoring a total of 13 goals in those 14 games.

The Portuguese is again set to be 'Los Blancos' main attacking threat against Atlético, the team he scored against in the Champions League final, who and were angered when he took off his shirt to celebrate. Atlético were not at all pleased with his behaviour and deemed his celebration excessive after making it 4-1 to Real from the penalty spot.
