In the pre-match press conference on Friday, Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho revealed that Petr Cech is coping with being behind Thibaut Courtois but that he is not happy with the situation.
“I don't believe he's totally happy, but that's him,” Mourinho said after Cech was dropped to the bench for the first game against Burnley.
“It is hard because at the moment it's one match a week.”
But he added that the Czech international, who has been Chelsea’s first choice for 10 years, is working very hard in training every day.
“Top pro, working as always, he is a Chelsea person.”
Mourinho then added that Cech would get his chance in September when there would be many more matches.
“But in September there's capital cup CL, PL, there will be rotation so everyone feels better. Petr behaviour is fantastic,” he concluded.
There are reports that Monaco have dangled a £10million loan deal for the goalkeeper.
