Jack Wilshere Will Bounce Back Strong - Mikel Arteta

Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta is confident that Jack Wilshere will bounce back from his latest injury setback and have a great career.

Mikel Arteta has little doubt Jack Wilshere will bounce back from his ongoing injury problems and will eventually have a fine career at Arsenal.

The midfielder, 23, was recently hit with the news that he faces another three months on the sidelines following a leg injury, but Arteta is convinced his team-mate will recover and get back to his best.

ENGLAND FACTOR!!! Daily Mail Rates Walcott Higher Than Willian, Fabregas & Wilshere = Draw

Previewing today’s Community between Arsenal and Chelsea, the Daily Mail have written up one of those illogical player v player pieces in order to ascertain which of the two sides is better.

Taking each player for each side and comparing them against their opposite number with scores out of 10 (keeper v keeper, full-back v full-back), the Mail came to the conclusion that Chelsea are better than Arsenal, 89 to 86 (as last season’s Premier League table would have shown you).

But when you look closely at each rating, a common theme emerges, and as was depressingly predictable, the Mail journo did the ratings with his Little Englander hat on.

Wilshere To Get Attacking Role At Arsenal - Wenger

Arsene Wenger has hinted that Jack Wilshere will be used in an attacking role for Arsenal in the upcoming season. Much debate has surrounded what Wilshere's best position is after some impressive performances for England as a defensive midfielder during their European Championship qualifying campaign.

But Wenger insists he sees the 23-year-old as someone who can play further forward and act as a creative force if he can steer clear of the injuries that have plagued his career to date.

Chuba Akpom Nets Hat-Trick As Arsenal Demolish Singapore Select XI

The 19-year-old Londoner opened the scoring after half an hour and bagged twice in three second-half minutes, after Jack Wilshere had converted a penalty, to seal his treble

Arsenal beat a Singapore Select XI 4-0 on Wednesday to reach the Asia Trophy final, with Chuba Akpom scoring a hat-trick.

Arsenal struggled to truly impose themselves for long spells but Akpom - who has spent time on loan at Brentford, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest in recent seasons without scoring - added late gloss having broken the deadlock after 30 minutes.

Wenger Doesn't Do Enough Work With Jack Wilshere - Paul Scholes

Jack Wilshere's superb second half goal and assist against Man City were described as 'one in the eye for the doubters', yet the midfielder's ability has never been in doubt - the issue has been how often he imposes himself on games like Saturday's clash with the champions.

That's not necessarily his fault, either. When Wilshere first burst on to the scene he looked for all the world like a natural No.10 but, given Arsenal have so many players of whom that could be said, the England midfielder has been largely forced to play in a deeper role that perhaps isn't as good a match for his skillset.
If Saturday showed anything, it's that he's more than capable of loitering in and around the penalty area, displaying the kind of composure required to score and assist in any match. So should Arsene Wenger shuffle his pack and give Wilshere a shot in that role?

WOW!!! Ex Arsenal Star Wants Wilshere To Quit Gunners For Better Career

Stewart Robson claims Jack Wilshere may have to leave Arsenal if he’s to fulfil his potential.

The England star, who has struggled with injuries this season, came in for criticism from ex-Man United midfielder Paul Scholes on Tuesday night, following the Gunners 2-2 draw with Swansea.

Scholes claimed that Wilshere had not improved since the age of 17, and former Arsenal star Robson claims Arsene Wenger is firmly to blame for the 22-year-old’s lack of development.

Aresne Wenger Will Not Blame England For Jack Wilshere`s Injury Woe

Arsene Wenger has refused to blame England for the injury that will keep Jack Wilshere out for six weeks.

The Arsenal midfielder is set to miss around eight matches after sustaining a fracture in his left foot in a tackle with Daniel Agger during England’s friendly win over Denmark on Wednesday night. That challenge happened in the 12th minute, but he played on until the hour mark before being substituted and claimed afterwards it was only bruising.

Further scans, however, revealed a miniscule fracture but Wenger insists the England medical staff were not to blame.

ARSENAL: Wenger Targets Late Central Midfielder Swoop After Suffering Wilshere & Ramsey Blow

Arsenal are targeting a central midfield signing in the final days of the window after being rocked by Aaron Ramsey’s injury blow, Goal can reveal. Arsene Wenger is in the market for a midfield operator who can protect the defence and link with the team’s attacking players.

The Frenchman played down the severity of Ramsey’s new thigh injury in the immediate aftermath of Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Southampton on Tuesday but Goal understands the Welshman will be out for up to another six weeks.

There are also growing doubts about Jack Wilshere’s recovery from his latest ankle problem after he saw a specialist in London on Tuesday. The England international has been ruled out of Arsenal’s league match against Crystal Palace on Sunday and is also now rated doubtful for the crunch clash against Liverpool six days later.
