CHAN: Eagles Keeper Agbim Disappointed Over The 'cheap' goal He Conceded

Nigeria goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim has said he was disappointed to concede a soft goal against Mozambique in a CHAN Group A match on Wednesday night.

Skipper Agbim was beaten by a Dario Khan 50-yard free kick in the 10th minute to give Mozambique some hope before the Super Eagles turned on their style to finally win 4-2 at the Cape Town Stadium.

“I was disappointed because I don’t think any goalkeeper can be happy conceding that kind of goal,” said Agbim.

CHAN: Nigeria In Must Win Clash Against Mozambique

Nigeria and Mozambique will both be in search of maximum points when they meet in their 2014 African Nations Championship Group A encounter at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday at 20h00.

The Super Eagles are currently in third place on the table with zero points after kicking off their campaign with a 2-1 loss to West African rivals Mali.

However, Stephen Keshi, who was recently named the African Coach of the Year for leading Nigeria to victory at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations believes the current side made up of locally-based players has potential to turn things around.
