NIGERIA vs MALI: Salami Set To Lead Eagles To Victory Today

Nigeria head coach, Stephen Keshi, has made three changes to his team that lost to Mali including selecting Bright Esieme and Gbolahan Salami as they prepare to face Mozambique in a Chan tie today.

Kano Pillars midfielder, Abdullahi Shehu, is the third player named in the starting side for Nigeria in the African Nations Championship (Chan) game.

Esieme will slot into left-back after Benjamin Francis failed to recover in time from a knock he suffered against Mali.

Similarly, Shehu will play in a central midfield role alongside Ugonna Uzochukwu and Rabiu Ali in place of injured Ikenna Hillary Paul, who is nursing a hamstring injury.

Francis and Paul have been ruled out of the Mozambique game all together by Keshi.

Captain Chigozie Agbim retains his place in goal despite criticism that trailed his opening day performance against Mali.

Enyimba forward, Ifeanyi Ede and Enugu Rangers attacking winger, Ejike Uzoenyi, also keep their places.

The Mozambique versus Nigeria match is live on SuperSport 4 and Select from 7.45pm CAT (6.45pm Nigerian time) this Wednesday.
